JJade TallowinWe had an amazing stay at this villa. The owners are by far the best part of the stay. They are so nice and friendly. The man drove us around town a few times and helped us prepare things for our bbq. He set everything up and cleaned it up. Whenever we offered to help he never allowed us. The room was immaculate when we arrived and everyday if we left the room no matter what time they would go up and clean it. We got fresh bedding and towels everyday which was not necessary but a very nice thought. Anything we needed we could just ask and they would help us. We did book this place over others based on they had a resturant but just be ware you need to have a minimum of 8 people in your party to use it. This was no problem for us though as we just ate in town down the road.
I would highly recommend this place for couples who want to sit and enjoy nature but also any families looking for a nice place to relax. They have an amazing garden and the pool was great too.
Honestly have no complaints! The games room was awesome too!

TTamuMy friend and I had a 3-night stay in this homestay and we enjoyed every single moment!
It is nestled quietly on the foot of a hill with bamboo forest, tranquil and peaceful. The lady owner deliberately designed and built the 3-story house, every corner showing her unique taste. Loved the little garden and playful pets, especially the 4-month-old baby cat.
The room was quiet and spacious with a high ceiling and a lovely bamboo hill view that I can't imagine to have back in Singapore, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed so much staying in the room. The owners were chatty and very friendly, making our stay very enjoyable. And a big thumb-up to lady owner's cooking.
It was a wonderful and memorable time staying in the homestay. Thank you very much!

TTamuMe and my girlfriend celebrated our anniversary here. We wanted to book a really nice place. I came across this hotel that had a private sauna in the room and thought it would be perfect for a spa-like retreat. The room was gorgeous and spacious with a big tub in the middle, a sauna, rain shower and a view of the mountain. The owner was very polite and accomodating. She allowed us to check in early, brought us a TV when requested, and the breakfast was “home cooked style” where they used some fresh seasonal ingredients grown around the area. For those with cars it also has a sizeable parking area under the building. Definitely recommend staying here on a visit to Moganshan.

TTamuGood for taking beautiful photos for the social media but rather poor user experience. Aesthetics of this place are good, some corners are really charming. Still it is the comfort that we value the most in a hotel as well as the quality service and unfortunately they are not at the same level of the aesthetics.
The room is huge but there is no sofa or chairs to sit and chat comfortably, just the two enormous heavy armchairs in the opposite corners of this long room. No mini bar/fridge, very poor lighting at the wash basin, impossible to do makeup. Zero privacy in the wc and shower since there are no actual doors there, just some short saloon style doors hanging in the middle, letting out the water from the shower and odors from the toilet. No hangers for the towels. No bathrobes provided which is strange for the hotel who’s main entertainment facility is the outdoor pool.
At the outdoor pool there are very few deck chairs and no umbrellas at all.
The communication was poor, mostly over wechat, since the staff speaks basically no English. We have asked twice, in advance, about the vegetarian option for breakfast and still they brought us meat in the breakfast set (only Chinese style food is available). Altogether the experience was rather disappointing. Glad to have booked just one night there.
As for the surroundings, there is no access to the bamboo forest behind the hotel or across the road. And beware of the aggressive unleashed dogs in the village across the road if you decide to go for a stroll near the hotel.

SShasa48The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was very warm and the view was amazing. So much light in the room. Location was good, and Didi can take you anywhere from there. And many hiking trails start there as well. The hosts were friendly, and breakfast was good. Suitable for vegetarians as well. Last thing, the room was exactly as pictured while booking.

RRose JFAmazing place. We loved it, my kids and my dog! If we could we would have stayed for longer. We will be back! room was spacious and beds were super comfy and beautiful. Shame there wasn’t more animals to see, but perhaps wrong time of year. We will be back soon!

TTamuVery clean. The space capsules are excellent if you are just looking for a neat clean place to sleep. The village has a lot to offer. The owner and his wife are very friendly and helpfull. I would definitely stay here again. It is a budget friendly option.
