You just need a short walk and you can see McDonald's or KFC and a bunch of restaurants. It is walking distance to the wedding manor where they were running the light show. The hotel bed was comfy and the TV had a number of free movies to watch!! We love the hotel breakfast spread. For some weird reason there were not a lot of tourists at night at the food street and outlet mall. It's just three of us and random couples down the road. The only thing that can be improved on is the service staff at the reception. The hotel does provide buggy rides but the frequency is one hour, so I wanted to ask about train rides and how to go about the area but they weren't too friendly, so we gave up and just walked around nearby. Overall quite happy with the short one night stay.

The room is very clean, although it is newly opened, but there is no taste of decoration. The service is available at any time. The food court downstairs is watching a movie while eating delicious food. The price is not expensive. I would like to have given this place a better rating because the assistance was quick whenever I needed it and the apartment was really nicely decorated. However, it was not clean, the washing machine was not in a good condition, the fridge smelt really bad at first, and the shower head was broken (they did replace the shower head though). I was also not given a key card or code to open the main entrance to the building and the security person in charge of letting key-less guests in usually took too long to open the door. One time I had to ring 6 times before the door was opened. Hainan is an amazing place and I'd definitely go there again. But honestly, I probably wouldn't stay in this apartment again. I also didn't realise it was more like an Airbnb situation rather than a hotel. I only found out after I'd booked the apartment that I would have to pay a deposit and only be able to communicate with somebody through WeChat because there is no front desk.
