Aeolos Beach Resort

Great hotel, fab entertainment - Jacob and the team really made our holiday - nice food and very clean rooms and gardens. Easy access to a small beautiful beach. A few small improvements we would suggest - the floor around the kids pool was very hard and all our children had cuts and blisters on their toes snd hands. We loved our room and the view was some spectacular but The beds are quite hard. If we return we wouldn’t bother with the a la cart restaurants as not really geared up for kids and portions very small. The main restaurant buffet is much better. The beach pizza and pasta cafe was great and the kids loved the beach snack shack for chocolate crepe. All the staff are great and very helpful - thanks to all!

The best holiday I have ever been on, hotel was absolutely stunning I wish we could have stayed longer, such a big place with so much to do and so much to see, staff so friendly and hotel was just simply stunning. cannot wait to return!

Hotel is extremely picturesque. Set on a hillside surrounded by beautiful greenery. Is set in quite a large area and there can be a significant amount of steep areas while walking around. May not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties however there are golf buggies readily available manoeuvring guests from A to B. All communal areas are exceptionally clean and cleaning is continual all day every day, especially the toilets (which is essential due to Greece not allowing toilet paper down the loo-hence can be smelly bins!). Rooms are also cleaned daily to a high standard. Restaurant we visited was the buffet style (there are others but did not visit so cannot comment). Food was varied across 7 days…we stayed for 10 so noticed the repetition. However there was always plenty to choose from, the bread was amazing, warm in the morning. Do not drink alcohol so could not comment on that but did notice that the soft drinks were watered down which was a shame. Water was given in the room on arrival only and was not replenished, however water was available in restaurants and bars but would’ve been a nice touch to have some replenished in the room daily. Entertainment team were friendly but not intrusive. They were polite but did not pester if you were not interested. Family pool area did have music playing in 2 places which was a little irritating as could half hear both.

DONT BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. Just back from 10 night stay at aeolos beach resort, and was fantastic. Good points, very very clean, staff are amazing and most are very friendly. Pool was cleaned every day and the staff work hard and long hours with a smile and happy to help. Decent drinks, some brand names to. Plenty of sunbeds although you still get people out early putting towels on then not returning for over 2 hours or more!! Built on a hill some some steep points but they are happy to get a buggy to ferry you around if willing to wait as they are also busy. Food was plentiful and a good variety. Breakfast you can get a full English or the chef will prepare omelets fresh for you. Again they work long hours but saying good morning and how are you, they will respond and happy to see you. Each and every staff member was amazing 👏 Bad point (single issue) they use heat lamps to keep food hot, but sometimes this is not enough and dried out the food, but always something to eat and tasty (if nothing you fancy, check out the kids food section). Had an amazing time, night time bar staff were great and made it very enjoyable. The entertainment team also engaged with the guests so join in, you'll enjoy it more !! All on all we had the best time, thanks to all the staff who made our holiday special ❤️ 9 out of 10 from me, just the use of heat lamps instead of hotplate was an issue for me.

Have just returned home from a really wonderful holiday in Corfu. The resort is absolutely beautiful with stunning sea views, couldn't fault anything. The animation team are fabulous, really friendly and made the holiday even more memorable! We will definitely be returning next year!!

We had a wonderful weeks stay at Aeolos beach resort, we stayed in room 303. Wonderful views from room. The top infinity pool is just stunning. Food was great lot's of choice. We ordered a packed lunch for a day trip at a cost of 3 euros each - this was extremely good value with more than enough food and drink for us. The buggys are a great touch if you don't fancy walking. Bus very easy to catch from outside hotel, you can buy tickets for this from shop. We really enjoyed the Greek night entertainment, the buzuki player was just superb. Would definitely recommend this hotel

This hotel is situated on a steep hill over looking stunning mountains and the sea. The view is second to none. The gardens are beautifully maintained with pretty flowers and trees that attract the most colourful butterflies. It is close to the airport so great for plane enthusiasts too. Manned golf buggies are on hand to take you around the resort if you wish and sometimes this is needed due to the steep nature of the pathways. The beach is within walking distance (5 mins) and there's a little shop, boat hire, a taverna style restaurant (not part of the hotel but highly recommended) and of course, the beach all inclusive restaurant close by. Surrounding areas are accessible by bus. Check in was straight forward. We were given a warm welcome and directed to the bar where drinks and a wrap/ salad awaited us. The staff were friendly and informative. Our room was clean, modern and spacious. It had a lovely garden view and the sea in the distance. The room was cleaned and tidied daily although the bottled water was not replenished (not really an issue for us but could be with children). We had a great little balcony, air con was amazing and the bed was comfortable. There are three restaurants; two a la carte and one main restaurant. We would recommend the pool a la carte restaurant as we loved the set menu they provided, the beach restaurant for lunch which provides fresh pizza (delicious), pasta and crepes, and the main restaurant for everything else. Staff were always friendly, polite and happy to help. There is a good selection of food which is of a good standard. We enjoyed the freshly made omelettes made to order in the morning and would have loved the same for pancakes although there was only one chef so understand this would be hard to do. There was a good range of bars spread across the resort offering local cocktails (strong) and drinks. We loved the lagoon bar where you could spend time relaxing with the most spectacular view. It was also close to the quieter pool where we never had a problem getting sunbeds. We hired a boat from Corfu Boat Rentals on the beach. The staff were lovely and we would highly recommend using them. We had a two hour hire which was plenty of time to see the south of the island although we didn't stop off anywhere. We didn't encounter the day time entertainment but the evening entertainment was OK. This was the only area where we thought there was room for improvement. Entertainment started at 9.30pm which seemed late for a family resort. We throughly enjoyed our stay and whilst we wouldn't usually return to the same place, we would definitely come back to this friendly, chilled and beautiful resort.

To the manager Andreas and his warm welcoming, hard working staff. Returned to the Aeolos Beach Resort after an absence of 12 years. Having experienced excellent holidays previously we were keen to enjoy the enhancements made in recent times. Although anticipating a great holiday having read and viewed the hotel’s advancements I suppose you are slightly apprehensive about the holiday not living up to those previously taken. Wow were we not disappointed. Having previously stayed in bungalows we decided to stay in the hotel itself on this occasion in a double room with sea view. The room which we found to be as anticipated, well appointed ( as advertised ) had a marvellous sea view across to the Greek mainland. It was immediately noticeable that the hotel is on a continual upgrade (as anticipated on prior information and photography ) The old pool area has now been replaced by an extended restaurant and bar area with snack food serving areas also. Beyond that the new activity pool area is a great enhancement to the hotel. There are plenty of loungers and space. A further bar and amenities are at the far end which service the outdoor entertainment area. We were always previously pleased with the quality of food at the hotel but the food and the ambience of the now 3 restaurants has improved dramatically and the Ionian is a new addition to us in itself. We thoroughly enjoyed the a la carte meal at the Ionian but didn’t partake at the Paralia on the beach front other than lunch time freshly made Pizzas which were very nice. We are so glad we tried the Corfiot Breakfast at the Ionian. Give it a try at least, Leta and her friendly colleagues will be only too pleased to show you around the displayed local / Greek foodstuffs. We went there inquisitively but returned daily thereafter. The Lagoon pool is a really good chill out area and must be about 60 m in length. It is great for swimmers and a bar with a small “ Subway” type feature excellent throughout day. The gym located in a small building close to the Lagoon pool has a good selection of equipment and was in regular use from early morning but never too busy. The Hotel Entertainment team is led by Jacob alongside a French holiday company’s in house team, who will make you aware of activities but not make you feel pressured to participate. A number of evening entertainments of good quality particularly the “ Boom Box Collective” who are an 8 piece group playing songs through the 70’s to the early 2000’s stands out. I understand from June this group will be the focus of the weekly beach party. Wish we were there,it should be quite a night. A fantastic holiday meeting other great guests from the world over. I understand there are other improvements planned with regard to new accommodation, another pool, improved access to the beach for those with limited mobility etc. We are so glad we returned and it was great to see a number of familiar faces particularly Gregoris. Whole family enjoyed their stay including two kids. Welcoming staff and always attentive with fast service! 10/10 for everything. Rooms were nice and easy to get around the resort as they provide a buggie service to help those who find it difficult to walk around. The resort is big and still kept clean everywhere. The food buffet had a nice selection. Cocktails were great, however I would suggest having a slush machine for children only as only had alcoholic option (which is tasty though) I went prepared with mosquito repellents and plug ins, or lavender scented things which did the job as other people had been bitten. Corfu was more hilly than I expected it to be as my mum has difficulties walking however with the bus stop right outside the resort, or the private beach being near by (steep steps to get down but two mins walk) Would definitely recommend this resort for the outstanding service, accommodation, food and drinks.
