Premier Inn Bangor (Gwynedd, North Wales)

Great central location to explore different areas of North Wales by car. Most places we wanted to go were reachable within 20-30 minutes. Reception staff ok but not always there. Breakfast clearly understaffed and understocked, mugs not clean, food, plates, cutlery missing all the time. No hot chocolate. Croissants finished early, they were even out of stock for Nutella. Cooked eggs were either overcooked or bursting with oil. When I didn't specify the bathroom needed cleaning too, they wouldn't clean it, only beds would be made.

Hotel ok but very pricey and basic Staff helpful. Restaurant on second day very poor service. The 2 staff, although there were only a couple of customers for breakfast, were chatting rather than clearing tables. There was only one clear table in the whole restaurant which I took. I ordered breakfast bacon, 1 sausage. I said I was in a hurry and I had to leave after 15 minutes when it didn’t arrive. The waitress just pulled a face and tutted as I left - no apology. There was only one member of staff on 1st day who was very polite and efficient Breakfast arrived in less than 5 minutes

Good one night stay before climbing Snowfon. Receptionists at check in & check out were both very friendly, chatty & welcoming, which made this Premier Inn feel less standard. Clean room, comfy bed, good sleep. Breakfast in pub next door, all fine. Cooked breakfast cooked to order, think my partner’s eggs got forgotten & were sitting under heat lamp in the kitchen for a while but not a problem. Decent coffee from machine at breakfast too.

I recently stayed here with family. we had such an amazing stay kim on reception was very helpful and lovely and the staff we approached in the hall way. our room was spotless and very clean we will definitely be returning again soon thank you x

Stayed in many hotels and the warm welcome and outstanding attention to detail during the check-in process by India was above and beyond the service we expected. Arranged our restaurant booking, showed us to our room, complimentary treats.

Lovely breakfast and comfortable clean room, quiet too. Would visit again and about 15 minutes drive from snowdon. Was doing the UTS event and a perfect base to use to get in and out. Nice and easy and the right side of town to avoid going through Bangor

Booked a premier plus room as it was only £12 extra, for that it was worth it. However we did arrive to our room with no towels, I went down and asked for some and she did very much apologise at reception! We were also meant to get complimentary water with it being a PP room but we didn’t get that. Room was lovely, quiet, hardly heard a thing all night, bed was comfy and the air con was welcomed. We didn’t book breakfast as we were going to go and find something out of the hotel but changed our mind in the morning to which the reception said absolutely fine just go across. The man in the restaurant had possibly got out of bed on the wrong side as he was huffing and puffing with the people in the queue ahead of us and because we hadn’t booked told us we had to wait while he sorted a table and to the next people in the queue, he had no tables at all…. would have only taken a second to grab me a napkin and a fork)….but anyway after 10 mins we left. Totally understand we didn’t book and to have a small wait, but felt he could have been a bit friendlier! Would stay again as the hotel itself was lovely and quiet and worth paying for the PP room on this occasion! X

The rooms were amazingly tidy and clean and the staff were incredibly helpful, especially India she is a lovely lady working on reception desk. She was extremely helpful and kind during my stay. Would 100% recommend to other people who want to stay at Bangor.
