This is the best hospitality I’ve found in Kathmandu. From cleanliness, to service to clarity of charges, breakfast was western leaning so I felt at home:). We stayed a week and used their airport transfer service as well. I’ve stayed in KTM 5 times. This place has been my last 2 and I don’t plan on going anywhere else. My clincher: cleanliness. It’s hard to overemphasize this in Asia. Totally different standards. And I feel very safe in five14

In my 64 years, only once has leaving a bed and breakfast brought me to tears. Last week when I said goodbye to the staff of this bed and breakfast, the tears rolled. This staff gave so much of themselves to our group. They had smiles on their faces when they arrived at 6 a.m. to us patiently waiting for our first expresso and when they left wishing us good night. They sat with me as I probably exhausted them with my endless questions but they taught me so much more about the culture than I learned from the books that I read before I came. The newly remodeled rooms were clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. I hope to return one day alone or with anyone I might be able to convince to venture across the globe. I need not look further than this warm and welcoming place that greeted us upon arrival and wished us safe travels as we left. And if, do stay, don't forget to take several bags of their own roasted coffee beans home with you!

Five14 was a perfect place to stay while in the Kathmandu area. The room worked very well for my son and I, and the included breakfast was delicious every morning! The attached café is a local meeting place for many Westerners in the area. The staff was super helpful, picking us up from the airport and helping to arrange tours. They also helped me with local bus knowledge and recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. It took us about 45 minutes to walk to Thamel, and local buses and taxis were easy to find also! We will definitely stay here again next time we’re back!

This place was incredibly convenient. To be able to stay at a place that had bathrooms in the room, tourist services, and a delicious café downstairs was perfect. We had eight of us staying here and it was incredibly walkable to other places as well as convenient with everything they had to offer. The staff were amazing and incredibly kind. We will be returning!

This place is the best placr I have stayrd in Nepal!! They offer so many different services so although it more pricey its so worth it. They have staff available 24/7 for anything you need and they always go above and beyond when it comes to service. The food is 100% safe and western friendly so you dont have to worry about sickness!

Five14 is an amazing hospitality and trekking business! I highly recommend to anyone traveling to Nepal seeking adventure. The service is incredible, and the people are so kind and bilingual. The food is great, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The rooms have A/C, the washrooms have heated water, and the beds are extremely comfortable. There trekking guides are certified professionals and extremely helpful. They will set up the whole trek and book every tea house stay, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. They will talk as little as want, or be the best trekking friend you could have asked for! They will help carry bags, order tea and food for you, and help the best they can with any problems you may face. I love there mission to help fight human exploitation. Overall, Five14 was incredible. I have no complaints. Five Stars!

The staff are extremely helpful and kind! There was always someone available to help with any need we had. The bed and breakfast facility is really nice, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was always amazing. I really enjoyed trekking with them as well, the guides always made sure we were doing well and were always looking out for us. I definitely would come back for another trip.

I got here jet lagged from 40 hours of travel and they were kind and helpful. My room, Red Panda, had a private bath and air conditioning. The bed was very comfortable and I got good sleep. The room was very clean. I took advantage of the airport shuttle. They were very kind and helpful. The cafe attached to it had a very tasty breakfast. This was a great start to my visit to Nepal. I hope to be able to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
