New Hotel Opéra

The pros: location is handy for exploring and in a nice area. The breakfast was fine and reception/breakfast room modern. The cons: it looks like the room hasn't been decorated in a long time. Dark lighting, curtains didn't shut properly, wallpaper peeling off and quite concerning cracks and bulges in the ceiling. I asked for an additional pillow for health reasons (only one given per person) and was told I had to wait until the next day. When one was provided, the cleaning staff then removed it the next day and I had to request again. We were on the second floor but the noise insulation wasn't great and noise from the road kept us up quite a lot,so maybe bring earplugs!

I am so happy that I found this hotel. The whole place is renovated, so it’s clean and cosy little hotel. There weren’t lot of different options on breakfast but still it had what necessary. I don’t like to waste food, so I liked it this way. Stuff was friendly if we needed them but we didn’t need them a lot. Mostly we went out around 10am and arrived from city exploring around 11.30pm. Few metro stations were close. I liked the location. Hotel street was quiet but much busier street and Moulin Rouge was in walking distance (10 -15 min).

Lovely place and i recommend it 100%, i would like spend again there and enjoy my trip in paris, location is great, close to train station and city center, bar , restaurant, parking is not so far from the hotel , our room was in 6 floors and really enjoyed

New Hotel Opera 4 Rue Liège, Paris RESUMEN Experiencia Horrible. Características: -Céntrico: SI -Sucio: SI, mucho. Polvo en todas partes. -Mobiliario: destartalado, sucio -Moqueta: Sucia -Servicio: horrible DETALLE Llegamos el 18/07/22 al hotel con reserva para cuatro noches. PRIMER DÍA: Habitación 16: un auténtico antro MUY SUCIO, destartalado y pequeño. Reclamamos a través de nuestra agencia y nos cambian a la 3a planta. Habitación 33: más espaciosa, aseo y ducha reformada y TONELADAS de polvo. (Documentado con fotografías y clips vídeo). Al mediodía el ASCENSOR NO FUNCIONA. SEGUNDO DÍA: (18/07/22) , a primera hora, nos quejamos en recepción por la gran cantidad de polvo que había en todas partes, enseñamos fotos con la esperanza de encontrar la habitación limpia. Cuando regresamos por la tarde, el ASCENSOR volvía a estar AVERIADO, y la habitación igual de sucia (fotos ). Presentamos nueva queja en recepción y a nuestra agencia, y se nos aseguró una habitación mejor y sin polvo para el día siguiente. Esa noche sufrimos un ataque de alergia que tuvimos que controlar con fármacos (Avamis). TERCER DÍA: dejamos equípame en recepción, como se había acordado, para el cambio de habitación. Solicitamos verla en ese momento y se nos negó aduciendo que todavía estaba ocupada. Después de comer regresamos al hotel y nos dieron la nueva habitación. Y aquí empieza la tomadura de pelo, un auténtico insulto: no daban la habitación del primer día, la 16. No es broma. Evidentemente nos negamos en redondo y muy enfadados. Como solución nos daban la 32. La fuimos a ver y era sencillamente horrible, peor que la 33. En este tiempo apareció el responsable del hotel, un tal Sr Jerome, que fue incapaz siquiera de disculparse. Ante ésta situación decidimos, de acuerdo con nuestra agencia de viajes, abandonar el hotel. Así acabaron dos días y medio de suplicio en un hotel cochambroso y sucio hasta niveles increíbles. Disponemos de fotografías y grabación en vídeo de todo. Ah, se nos olvidaba: el miércoles 20/07/22 el ascensor también estaba AVERIADO. En resumen. El hotel que se anuncia como refinado es un auténtico nido de suciedad . El personal, pasivo y desagradable

Our experience at the hotel was great. Rooms were spacious with comfy beds. The bathroom a was little dated but I enjoyed the old hair dryer as it was interesting. Worked fine too! The staff were very polite and helpful with our questions and concerns. The hotel is also a 3 minute walk to the metro that takes you anywhere you need to go (ofcourse with connections depending on the destination), and close to boulangeries for breakfast or a fresh croissant. Would stay here again in the future. Thank you!
