Hilltop Gardens Hotel Apartments

The staff were absolutely the best part of our stay, they were so so lovely and helped us with every little thing, couldn’t have thanked them enough, the cleaners also were so kind and friendly. The room itself was big and had everything we needed for a self catering stay, the kitchen was missing a few little bits but the staff helped us out and gave us whatever we needed straight away. The hotel is in an okay area, only 10 minute walk away from a beautiful sandy beach and 5 minute walk away from lidl and some really nice and cheap bars. We opted to ride on electric scooters for most of our trip and we defo recommend it, we got to the waterpark in 20 minutes riding them and only cost us €6 each. The hotel is just off the main road which leads to most of Paphos’ restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets. Also about a 20 minute walk from the bus station. A lot of the area is under construction at the time we went but you couldn’t hear any of the work when inside the hotel and it was interesting to see how fast the builders were working!! The only thing we can fault is the room could have been a little bit cleaner. We didn’t try the food from the hotel but the drinks were a tad expensive but really tasty. But overall our holiday was absolutely amazing and we would definitely come back to Paphos and we would come back to this hotel if we wanted to go self catering!! 100% would recommend.

just returned from another fabulous fortnight at the hilltop, rooms are spotless, plenty of utensils if needed, comfortable beds, clean linen and towels, granted the hotel is a 20 min stroll from the town center, but its a pleasant walk on a evening, lidl and bus stop 10 mins away,plenty of sunbeds, pool area always clean. staff are excellent, always polite, smiling, very knowledgeable about local area and attractions, a big thank you to the legend that is connie, the mainstay of the bar staff, also tina, natalie, and johnny, whom help make everybody happy and comfortable. there is building work 500 yards away, but this did not spoil our holiday one iota. all rooms now have excellent wifi, smart tvs, and netflix. one downside bar prices are slightly expensive for drinks and food ect. compared to other eateries, my wife says a full length mirror in apartments would be a good addition. local place to eat 10 mins walk away all on tomb of the kings road worth a visit are dt;s, hickeys, all offer good food and drinks at good prices, one rip off was beerbellys a so called irish pub, we were charged 11 euro for two pint of local beer, so be aware. would we return, without a doubt, would we recommend, YES.

Lovely and clean , staff were lovely , had to get bus to town one Hour 15 minutes to walk ( cheap only€1.50 day and €2.50 nighttime for bus) food was lovely but air con €6.50 a day very expensive( they should put that in hotel cost) internet fantastic never dropped out, telly not much English on it , the only downside was the pool cobwebs all under sun beds and the whole pool area needs TLC

This is the worst hotel iv ever stayed in. Beds were like bricks walls were dirty cracks in walls kitchen cupboards disgusting door key lock didnt work and view from window was a brick wall. Couldnt open door or windows cause cats was constantly trying to get in. Overall it was a nightmare. Stayed for 18 hrs no sleep and had to go on *********** to move out . Moved to king evelthon for the rest of my holiday.

Lovely peaceful location. immaculate, spacious, well equipped apartment. Every single member of staff was friendly and extremely helpful, couldn’t do enough for you. A really welcoming place. The lounge and bar area were lovely especially when the real fire was lit in the chilly evenings we were there. A lovely secluded peaceful pool area (we were warned ahead of travelling that local building work may disturb this but it didn’t at all). Very good location, ten minute walk to beaches. Less than ten minute walk to Lidl supermarket. Five minutes to the bus stop. Regular buses to the harbour and Coral Bay (note you need cash for the bus they don’t take card). Cars drive on the same side of the road as here and the plug sockets for your electricals are the same as here. We walked up to a little village called Chloraka to visit Stavros 100% Cyprus Honey an absolute gem of a place very pretty with some fabulous little coffee places and taverns. Two minutes from the apartments is Odys Bar we had a fantastic Sunday roast there and can also recommend DT’s which is on the main road just past Lidl. The bus was €1.50 each, each way. We had a taxi back from the harbour after shopping in the large supermarket there and that was €12. We would recommend Paphos and these apartments and would definitely return.

Got a great deal for a week as an autumn getaway. We were first given a ground floor apartment but really wanted a balcony I spoke to reception the next day and were moved to a really nice room with a large balcony overlooking the pool, lovely room. We ate out a few times but also used the local shop and the Lidl and ate in. Lovely pool area beds available all day. Staff were helpful and friendly. Easy to get the the bus which goes to the harbour and coral bay - we did both. We went on the Oceon Vision night cruise on our last night which was brilliant. Weather was perfect hot in the day cooler at night so we didn’t pay for air con. Heard people saying the beds were hard but we slept well every night. Would return if we got the same deal. Didn’t want to come back to the cold dark days !!

I would not recommend staying in hilltop gardens! My room was fairly clean although I could see spider webs everywhere. Kitchen was equipped in basic stuff although there was no complimentary items in the whole apartment at all apart from toilet paper! Air conditioning was 6.5€ a day which I believe isn't cheap considering that most likely you will not be spending all day in your apartment. Food selection was horrible. Breakfast was poor, very small, barely any selection for B&B option of the apartment and was definitely not worth the money! No consistency in cooking as staff seemed to be doing everything in there from reception to cooking etc. Bar looked very outdated, alcohol was expensive, drinks not great. Owner was very unpleasant, never welcomed guests. No entertainment available but understandable due to lack of guests in the hotel. Room service was available but no room service card to hang on the door so maid would just walk in regardless. Swimming pool area was okay, the pool looked nice and the views were okay.

Shame about the location but in overall very pleasant stay.very clean and staff friendly.air condition should be included in the price though as it can get rather hot sometimes without it .the cleaners are very hard workers .

Another fabulous stay at the Hilltop. Comfortable and clean rooms, excellent cleaning service and the Reception and Bar Staff are simply fantastic. The pool is wonderful, plenty of sun loungers and seats / tables. I will definitely be back in the New Year 😎
