"Quite easily one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Not only are you spoiled with stunning views of the Sea but you are surrounded by friendly and helpful staff who all seem to genuinely care - regardless of their role within the hotel. We were fortunate to stay in a Junior Suite which was immaculate and spacious. The rest of the Hotel was also immaculate and the facilities are second-to-none. The staff were easily the best we have ever experienced and we must give particular mentions to Mr George Trainee (he insisted “Trainee” was his last name!) from the front desk. He helped us plan some birthday suprises for my Dad who would arrive a few days after we did and nothing was too much trouble. We must also mention Stella from the adults-only pool bar! Stella is such a warm, kind and loving woman and looked after us as if we were a part of her family - what a credit to your hotel she is! I’d also like to thank both of the ladies at Guest Services who again went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as lovely as it was. The food from all restaurants/snack bars was also fantastic! Lots of tasty food to accompany our party of 6 to whom all have different tastes. Nobody struggled to eat well and we are all definitely a few pounds heavier now! We are already booked for next year and can’t wait to bring our wedding party to stay at The Mare!"

M Boutique Hotel - Designed for Adults

"Beautiful hotel located in a very convenient location! The room is very spacious although we did not get a front view room ( we are facing the other residential building next to the hotel), the big tree right next to the balcony did add up to the privacy. An outside facing room would be great for the stay but may be because we asked for quiet room, that’s why the hotel placed us there. The soundproof is very good in the room once the balcony door is closed, so I do think that even facing the swimming pool or street, there won’t be much noise :) Shower is good! Strong water pressure and drainage is perfect! A/C is good, definitely cold enough for mom. House keeping did a good job except after the second day, she did not give us another bottle of water in the room and missing out the face towels on one day and I have to go to reception to ask for them two days in a row. But overall good cleaning no complaints. Breakfast menu in my opinion could be bigger and provide more options. The quality of food was amazing though especially the avocado spread sourdough which we ended up having it 3 out of 4 days. And the coffee, is to die for ! Must try their Freddo espresso / cappuccino !!! Just so good! Very smiley and friendly staff at the restaurant, reception and swimming pool especially Katalyn at the breakfast , always smiling, greeting us and remembering us at the breakfast. Hospitality is about how they make you feel and I think she did it well:) Last but not the least, swimming pool area was so beautifully designed, the reflection under the water made you feel like you are in one of those Vogue magazine picture😝. Sunbed was super comfy 10/10. Gym was a bit small in case anyone care about that. Very enjoyable stay, would definitely book again if I ever go back and will recommend to my friends!"

"The holiday resort looks nice but quite old style. Staff are all really friendly. Our first night was a little bit hassle as when we were about to sleep my bf felt something crawling to him and theres bed bugs, massive one as well. Then when we lift up the bedsheet covers we all found them on that side crawling around which is really disgusting. We then reported to the receptionist and gave us new room and this time no more bugs. But didnt say sorry or whatsoever and didnt even give us any compensation and refund."

"The property is perfectly located in Phapos. Just a 5-minute walk to one of the main attractions (Tomb of the Kings). There are plenty of restaurants within 10-15 minutes walking, and also a mall at about 20-25 minutes walk. The hotel was fairly clean but lacked some room amenities (considering it's a 4 star). The property is old because of which there were stains and marks on the walls. Breakfast was also fine, nothing great! Overall, fine for a short stay."

"The location is good. A few restaurants around. Plus a good bus route to Coral Bay and Paphos Harbour. Friendly staff. Clean. A little dated. Showers over baths and woukd be better to install walk in showers. Food is good. A good choice. Also two a la carte restaurants. Limited menu but ok. There is a small area by the sea not teally a beach but the sea is nice. Take water shoes as quite pebbly. Sun befs are always available on the grass areas and have lovely views over the sea. Round the pool they are limited and people start saving then abiut 05.30. However they then have to sit there until 08.00 otherwise the towels are taken to reception. They would be better to allocate sunbeds on arrival letting people pick and then no rushing in the mornings Not good if you srtive after midnight. You get handed a oaper bag with sandwiches. Not very appetising an apple and a bag of crisps. No bar available to get a drink. Water in fridge in room. However bring own water bottle or keep re filling that one. Bettet to provide some food in restaurant and certainly a drink You are told only change towels three times a week for beach and pool. Very strange but in theory they don’t ask you ehat room so guess as much as you like. One outdoor pool. Very nice and warm. Gets busy though. Entertainment not brilliant but ok. Aqua arrobics is very basic more like stretching and abit of dance. Not for someone who is very active. Spa is ok. Facial ok. Nothing special but nice enough. Room where couples get treated together is mot very appealing. Up some steps and just basic. Not like a spa arw but ok. Nikos provided a very nice facial. Very polite as well. A nice enough hotel for the price. But definitley needs a revamp it would be nice to see it sfter a revamp"

"As per the title this was our 9th visit (14 nights), our 8th was in May for 10 nights. We’ve been coming to this hotel since 2017 and seen many changes but in my wife and I opinion Thomas has got this this hotel to the absolutely top of the tree. A new addition was the DJ on the deck a few nights a week which was brilliant. Once again the standard of food and booze and service was second to none with superb staff. Every member of staff is so welcoming and friendly but a few who I’d like to mention are Oxanya/Neru/Hassan/Tanbin and the wonderful Vesi. A massive thank you once again Thomas for everything you’ve done for us over the years. Lastly can’t wait to see the lovely Maria ( always smiling and laughing at reception) next year. Ps there’s 2 unsung members of staff who I’d like to mention firstly Kyra ( absolutely brilliant) and Allam who’s 1st at the pool (7am) every single day ensuring everything is ship shape ( he deserves a medal).
