The King Jason Paphos - Designed for Adults by Louis Hotels

Loved the location. the staff were excellent, polite and genuine. A special mention goes out to Maria, front desk manager. She was humerous, and very knowledgeable of the area. She provided me with maps, and some background history of Cyprus, which i was very much appreciative for. My room was clean, The cleaning staff were very persistent in wanting to come and clean the room when we were still there, it was a little annoying, but i admired their dedication. the hotel is beautiful, Very much so an intimate setting. Definitely worth rebooking.

The king jason prides itself on its hospitality and it over achieves. All the staff are smiling, friendly and extremely professional. The whole of the hotel is clean and provides a pleasant environment. The food is of excellent quality with a wide variety of choices. There are differing themed nights which makes each evening meal a delightful surprise. The selection of deserts makes your mouth water.

.... wont be back to this hotel. This was an extra for us as we go to Turkey twice a year. On arrival at the underwhelming reception got a glass of bubbly whilst filling out the forms. Couldn't carry our cases to room 16 as no lift and up two flights, even the barman who helped was struggling! Room was big but very dated. Outlook from balcony was of the roof of reception and some wasteland. Bedroom is huge but with a tiny wardrobe. Kitchenette in lounge with table and chairs (from the self catering days) I never saw photos of this type of room on the hotels website (they only show nice new sparkly ones). We knew two things before we came, one being in a residential area and two a road nearby. I thought it would be a nice residential area but its not, very run down, broken pavements, bins everywhere. Would not recommend walking at night to go out. Now the road I thought would be a residential road is not. It is in fact a very busy dual carriageway with noise from heavy lorries, motorbikes etc all day. So the hotel boasts "an environment which is devoid of the anxiety associated with everyday life"...apart from the road noise. Its devoid of any atmosphere at all! If you are looking for a quiet time on holiday then this is the place. Practically zero entertainment. Sitting having a drink after dinner I thought I had wandered into an old peoples home! The majority of guests are older (as we are) but sitting playing cards or dominoes is not really a fun night. Anyway the positives - food is quite good for general hotel buffet style, with different themes. The Merlot and Rose were good. Branded drinks (as you would expect). Tried the Peruvian which I enjoyed but my wife hated. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. Special mention to Elias who kept our glasses full. I think the hotels rating is boosted by all the 5 star reviews left by returning guests. In my opinion these guests can't have experienced other 4 star hotels which are situated in better locations and higher quality. This hotel for me is just average. Each to their own I suppose. We will be back to Paphos next November as the weather is wonderful but probably to a beach side Hotel.

King Jason you excel on every visit….. Thomas you and your team are all outstanding on delivering an exceptional service. We have been to your home from home 5 times in total and I never come away disappointed. We stayed in block C this time and rooms are great standard with everything you need, clean fresh and housekeepers do an excellent job. Pool service is always friendly & welcoming. Restaurant service is also excellent and food is outstanding lots of choice fresh hot and enjoyable no matter what your food taste is always something to enjoy a meal. As we have been before it was great to see familiar staff which is a rarity but this also states they are happy within the environment of the King Jason. We had a great 5 nights and will visit again in October thanks for a great stay to you and your outstanding team. Sharon & Keith

We visited the King Jason in October and today have re-booked for May/June. I realised I hadn't written a review for our last visit. This could be because I came home with my right arm in plaster so found difficulty typing for a while. I use a mobility scooter and am not great on my feet and consequently fell on the first full day there, breaking my arm in two places. I spent two days in hospital and so missed a couple of days in this fabulous hotel. Everyone there was really concerned and helpful after my accident and once I got back to the hotel, they continued to do all they could to make a difficult situation as good as it could be. I can't commend the staff enough for their care and concern. The hotel itself is wonderful and the food and drink are amazing. It is a very relaxing place and though there is not entertainment every night, we enjoyed what there was and had fun chatting with fellow guests on other evenings. We found that everyone else had the same high opinion of this place. I was obviously unable to use the pool etc so had planned to go back in October this year. However, we couldn't wait that long so will be there again in a few weeks making up for the things we didn't do last time. Hopefully, I shall be able to write another excellent review iin June!

people have said it all,from when u walk through the door till u leave u feel at ease with this hotel. john h has this place summed up very well. we where there for two weeks in a executive suite. the maid did towel animals which where very good such as swans elephants and dogs. she also was very good at her job always cheerful and smiling. as are all the staff.food brill drinks good and plenty off choice. BIG 10 from me.

OMG this is the best holiday we've ever had!! (Ok we don't fly more than 4.5 hours but we've been on many holidays). The hotel is nothing short of outstanding. Thomas, the General Manager is often seen walking around the hotel and is more than happy to speak to guests. The Ops Manager, George leads by example; him and his staff can't do enough for the guests. If you want anything you only have to ask. Just one word of warning, just make certain the you bring larger clothing as the food was awesome. Ok, the kerb appeal to the hotel is not much but then you don't spend your time looking at the hotel from the outside. It's little wonder that so many guests come back time and time again. WELL DONE the King Jason Hotel.

If you are looking for a place to park yourself for a week and only worry about nothing then this is the place! The Staff from the cleaners to the top management are all helpful and professional. Pool area great, hydro pool excellent. Non stop food from 7.30am and all good quality, if you want to put weight on this is the place for you. Bar selection good, Keo and Estrella on Draught plus nice wine and good quality spirits, cocktails really great. Spa pool really nice and treat yourself to a massage as they are great. Rooms are clean and beds are very good . I can understand why people go back again.
