Grecotel Marine Palace & Aqua Park

Zeer aangenaam verblijf gehad in dit hotel! Alle services in dit hotel worden met de grootste zorg uitgevoerd. Als er dan al opmerkingen zijn wordt er actief geluisterd en onmiddellijk gepoogd deze te verhelpen. Hoewel dit een groot hotel is, valt dit niet echt op daar er verschillende plakken werden gemaakt waar de gasten kunnen vertoeven. Behalve in het main restaurant kan het heel druk zijn, maar op andere plaatsen is dit goed te doen. Breakfast by the sea is een aanrader. Selectie aan dranken is zeer uitgebreid en verzorgd. Maaltijden zijn zeer smaakvol.

Outstanding customer services, staff are very friendly and helpful. Eleni amongst others have looked after as us really well. We are having a wonderful time. The hotel is clean and the food is excellent. Very family friendly, the resort is set up with children in mind.

A trip with your family worth of fun, good food exceptional service and a amazing Crete experience the little beach is still more than enough considering that they are 5 pools and a water park. I would always recommend this hotel to families .

This was our first overseas holiday outside of the UK with my children of seven and nine. This was also our first all inclusive holiday. I think the most important point to get across is that I would definitely return for another visit and I would definitely recommend to my friends and family that they also, visit. We booked through a travel agent and we were unaware at the time that you could book directly. This is something we will look into next time. In short, I give this five out of five because it was a fantastic venue and holiday complex I will try and cover as many aspects as I can and hopefully give some useful information. It seems like a strange place to start but I’m going to begin by talking about the Grecoland kids club. Ran by 3 members of the entertainment team Sheila, Carla and Adriana. In my daughter’s eyes they are the absolute superstars of the entire holiday. they run the club six days out of seven with fun activities changing on a daily basis. Several times during the week we would be by the pool or on the beach and we’re just hear this pop music and a troop of children would come along all smiles having a great time. I honestly cannot praise these girls enough for making my daughter have such a lovely holiday! Next, I have to mention Samuel the sports instructor. You must join in with some of his sporting events. Personally, we did the archery and had a lot of fun. But the best and most attended event for us was the water polo in the main pool we must’ve played at least four times and had a lot of fun. So much so my nine-year-old is keen to look for a water polo club, somewhere close to home. The entertainment team consisting of the Kidz club and sports coach amongst others also run the evening entertainment and children’s disco which was half an hour of multicultural singing and dancing and generally having a good time. Each evening was ended off by a fantastic dance called Cu Cu Moves, which has been playing on our smart device every day since we got home. We were told by multiple staff members to not miss the fire and aerobics show on the Tuesday evening. So we made sure we had good seats in the outdoor amphitheater which was a phenomenal setting for the children’s disco and the entertainment. We were blowing away by this show. The acrobatics were worthy of a national stage and the fire juggler would put any circus performance to shame. Because this was an all inclusive holiday, we pretty much spent most of our time on site. And while the facilities were fantastic and the food was delicious, the people really did make the holiday. From the incredibly helpful bilingual reception team to the lovely cleaning ladies who were always there and seem to be everywhere all at once. Needless to say the place was very clean. And the restaurant staff we had were a phenomenal team looking after us. The chefs were all friendly and happy to take time to explain the different foods that were available, the restaurant captain

Awesome hotel, a lot of activities to do, good amount of different pools, great waterpark and other water activities. Childrens are very happy to play around in the park, football field and basketball field. Food was great and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Waiters and waitresses are very accomodating, friendly and go above and beyond to help. there is a good variety of food, something for everybody (nationality and food preferences). numerous amount of pools to choose from to sit by and relax, the beach is a stone throw away! the hotel has a community-feel about it. the rooms are clean, fresh bedding and towels every day. there are plenty of activities for adults and children. from arriving at the hotel to leaving, it has been a smooth running process, cannot fault a single person here. there is also a small water park which was so much fun - we were like big kids! my partner secretly arranged a cake for my birthday and it was absolutely delicious! we would definitely stay here again!

Just had a great week at this Hotel. The rooms are all in blocks ,like living in a village. Very clean and modern. We stayed all inclusive ,and the food was excellent and varied. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You could swim in a different pool everyday, there were so many! ,and you have the waterpark too.The Hotel also has a private beach. As the Hotel stretches down to the sea, the rooms are on different levels, so be prepared for steps. Our room was in a block at the top of the road so we had to walk down each morning to the restaurant. Great hotel for children especially with the waterpark. There is a little village within walking distance of the hotel, which has gift shops and restaurants. We took a 40 minute bus ride from the village to Rethimno Town, cost 6 euros return per person , great going, but coming back be prepared to stand on the bus as its so busy. The town has lots of shops restaurants and a lovely little marina. On our last evening we ate at one of the 3 a la carte restaurants at the hotel, a lovely meal to end a very enjoyable holiday.

I don't usually leave reviews but I found them very useful when I was booking for this trip, so it would be wrong not to. I travelled here with a family of 4 first week of May, we arrived late at night and unfortunately we wasn't too happy with the room we were given (it didn't match the layout of what we was expecting) however, I let them know at reception the next morning and within a couple of hours we were given a much better suited room with no hassle at all. The thing that stood out for us during our stay was the great customer service throughout the whole resort, this really makes a difference and is unfortunately rare these days. Nothing was ever too much trouble, everyone smiling and making sure you were ok. The pools were great and suitable for everyone, I didn't find them cold like some of the other reviews, admittedly the aquapark pools were colder and did prevent the kids from spending too much time in them but they wasn't too fussed as they were happy at the main pools. The food was some of the best we've ever had on holiday, I was surprised to read some negative comments about the food. The only minor complaint we would make here is that we think the kids buffet selection could have been a bit more varied (it takes up a small area compared to the main selection). Overall, we would definitely recommend this place to any families thinking about it. I would book with this hotel franchise again with the biggest positive being the customer service 👌🏽
