Hotel Osaka Chuo Ward

Hotel is short distance from Shinsaibashi metro station. Really easy to travel via the midosuji lines. Exit from exit 2 from the metro station (exit 1 is under construction when I was there). Plenty of food options along the street and hotel is also really close to dotonburi. Rooms are clean enough for 2 pax in a room. However for big groups booking multiple rooms, do take note that for moderate twin rooms, there is only 1 room per level. So for my booking of 4 rooms, we were spread out in 4 levels. There were a total 5 washing machines with dryer functions in this hotel. Staff were friendly but they speak limited English. Luggage locker room is self service on level 1. IC card is used to lock and unlock the locks.

Kitahama is so peaceful. There’s a river near by with good vibes. If you like shopping and late night restaurants, this location is not for you. The size of the room is quite nice for a business hotel. Room is clean! Overall, I’m happy with the stay and would recommend.

We booked the quadplets room that comes with 2 queen beds. It’s fully equipped. Would be better if washing machine has drying option. Limited space to eat in the room as only a small tea table and a small couch provided. Overall still a pleasant stay. Location wise is very convenient, very closed to Dotonburi and Shinsaibashi shopping street . As we need to depart for very early flight in the morning, this apt is perfect for a short walk to Nankai-Namba station, about 7mins walk. Staff is quick to response and clarify via chat when we didn’t know how to retrieve our room key & had issue with slow wifi connection. All solved promptly. 👍🏻

To be fair, it's very average. The pros and cons are listed below⬇️ Disadvantages: 1⃣️The shower room is separated into wet and dry areas, but there is no bathtub, and the corners of the walls are all black. I saw other people's comments saying there is a bathtub, and asked the customer service, saying that some rooms have it and some don't. Then I would like to ask why the room types are all the same price? 2⃣️The toiletries were not fully replenished. I sent a message to the aunt to replenish them. The next day, she took a mineral water bottle and filled it with some for me. I was very speechless... I really can't accept that someone drank from this bottle and then filled it with conditioner for me. 3⃣️The water pressure for the shower is very very very low! ! The shower head is also very small! ! 4⃣️The surrounding area is under renovation, and it is very dusty! The doors and windows must be closed. As for the noise, I personally think it's okay, because I sleep heavily, and those who sleep lightly should not accept it. Advantages: 1⃣️The room is really big! The suitcases can be spread out casually, unlike the 12-ping room that is so cramped. 2⃣️There is a kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, and washing machine. During the period, I bought some things and cooked a meal at the cheap supermarket opposite. It was quite interesting? 3⃣️It is not far from the subway station, and several attractions: Kuromon Market, Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, and Nihonbashi can be walked to. The location is quite convenient. If the hotel plans to change the bathroom, I would still recommend it. For tired tourists who have been playing outside for a day, taking a comfortable bath is really very important... The small shower head + no bathtub really makes it difficult to get enough relief...

The location is really good because it is right in front of Exit 6 of Nipponbashi Station. It would be really hard to find a place this big for this price. The only regret is that only 6 towels are provided even for multiple nights, so you have to wash them. Also, there is a lot of dust everywhere, so if you have allergies or rhinitis, I recommend that you bring your medicine. Even considering all the cons, the size of the room is so good for the price that I recommend ignoring all the cons and making a reservation. The view from the stairs of the room is also pretty.

This is a homestay converted from a two-bedroom, one-living-room apartment with a very high cost-performance ratio. Let me first talk about its advantages: 1. It has a good geographical location, close to the Kuromon Market (2-3 minutes walk), and has a lot of seafood. It is about a 15-minute walk from Nankai Line Namba Station, making it convenient for traveling to and from Kansai International Airport. It is about an 8-10 minute walk from Nihonbashi Station, where you can take the Kintetsu to Nara, Kyoto and other places. It is a 10-15 minute walk from Shinsaibashi, Dotonbori and other commercial centers. 2. The room consists of two bedrooms and one living room. One room has two large beds and can accommodate four people. The other room has a large horizontal bed that can sleep two people, and an additional floor bed can be added to accommodate one person. The whole set can accommodate up to seven people. It is suitable for a family of three generations, two families of relatives and friends, or several close friends to live together. It is more favorable to share the room fee. 3. The hotel is fully equipped with induction cooker, refrigerator, electric kettle, washing machine, TV, shower room, bathtub, toilet with washing machine, and a full set of toiletries. It is suitable for consecutive stays, and guests can wash clothes and cook their own meals. 4. The surrounding area is a residential area. There is a business market one minute away from home, which is similar to the vegetable market in China. There are fresh meat, eggs, vegetables, and various frozen foods and fast foods. If you live here for a long time, you can buy vegetables and cook by yourself, which is more economical. There are several convenience stores such as FamilyMart, 7-11, and Lawson within a 5-minute walk. 5. The customer service is very nice. They respond to all requests and answer all questions. They are very considerate and deserve a thumbs up. Next, I would like to make some suggestions in the hope that we can do better. 1. There is no air conditioning in the living room. The two air conditioners in the bedroom may not be enough in extreme temperatures. If a heater and an electric fan are prepared in the living room, it may be an improvement. 2. The tatami bedroom does not have thick curtains, so the light is brighter in the morning, which may affect people who are used to sleeping in. 3. There is no place to put clothes in the bathroom, and there is no washing area outside the bathroom, which is not very convenient. 4. If possible, can you prepare some cooking oil, salt, sugar, condiments, etc. in small packages to facilitate cooking for guests? I have stayed in B&Bs in Europe and the United States, and many of them provide basic condiments. In short, this is a very satisfactory B&B. If I go to Osaka in the future, I will definitely choose this one again if possible.

The location is very good, not far from the subway station, and you can reach Kuromon Market by turning a corner, but it is very quiet here. There are 7-11 and Family Mart not far away. When I stayed there, it was under renovation, and the house number plate had not been installed yet, so it was difficult to find, but it did not affect the accommodation. The bed was big, and the basic facilities were all there. There was also a small balcony for drying clothes. The only shortcoming was that the hot water sometimes ran out during use, and it needed to be turned off and on again. Everything else was fine. In short, the price/performance ratio was good!

The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated but too dark (due to black wallpaper). It had all the amenities I needed, toiletries (from lobby), bathtub n triple beds. The location was perfect, with many local attractions, restaurants, and shops within walking distance, and public transport was easily accessible. I felt safe and well-connected throughout my entire stay. The housekeeping was not excellent done as we hv to empty our own waste (the dustbin).

Very convenient location with friendly staff. The room is spacious, and the humidifier was a lifesaver! My only feedback would be about the breakfast. If you’re staying for more than two days, I’d recommend skipping it, as the menu doesn’t change much and can get repetitive.

Convenient location with around 8-10 mins walk to Kitahama station. Do note that there’s no aircon in the room as it’s central aircon. Will need to open window for ventilation. The space is quite small as well which is expected for most Osaka hotels. Didn’t manage to take any photos so just a city view of the umeda sky building :)
