Ulasan New Osaka Hotel Shinsaibashi

Though the building looks kinda run down compare to those franchise and new hotels, the location was good, the room was clean, size of the room was quite spacious for one person (considering a traveller with low standards) price was good too.

I like this hotel not to far away from everything

the location, price, services are excellent. In overall, I would recommend this hotel to others and would stay in this hotel again when I back to Japan someday!

The room is quite spacious and easy accessible to metro and convenience stores and most of the Osaka tourist spots.

Location is very good, 5-10 mins from hotel to metro/jr & walking shopping street, Shinsaibashi-Suji & Parco/Daimaru as well as Crysta underground shopping, which can lead to Dotonbori & namba, only 3 stations to umeda. Hotel is a little bit old, but good maintenance, good service, facility is basically enough, buffet breakfast is better comparing to other similar type/level hotels. Overall is super-value for money to stay here.

Breakfast is excellent. Room is quiet and clean. Stuffs are friendly. I will come back again.

Great location for solo travellers. Right in the middle of shopping center and subway lines. The room is a bit small, which is ok for a solo traveller, but very clean. Quiet and comfort level is high. However for the check in time was a bit inconsistent from one front desk to the other, the website said 14:00, the first front desk reluctantly said maybe after 14:00 but not at 14:00. So then I left and come back at 14:00, only to be told by second front desk the check in starts at 15:00. Just make it clear the check in time is, if its 15:00 then write it as is on the website. If its written 14:00, then us as your customer take it as 14:00 sharp.

The hotel is located at a very convenient location and while it’s nothing super fancy, all the basic amenities were available and I thought it was quite worth it considering the price. I also want to give a special shout out to the female receptionist at the front desk for being so helpful to me! TLDR: My luggage got damaged while it was being delivered to the hotel, and she went beyond the mile to help me contact the delivery company and follow up on my case for me at my request. Only managed to receive the compensation money in time before checking out thanks to her help, so a big kudos to her! ♥️ Service is definitely on point.

The room I stayed in was rather small and felt cramped. The window locking mechanism broke as I used it. The bathroom door was narrow and squeaked every time I opened and closed it. I caught my sleeve on the door handle every time. The plastic sill leading into the bathroom creaked every time I stepped on it. The bathroom smelt like damp or mould. I suspect this is due to the lack of silicone sealant around the bath tub. The desk had an advert for beer propped up - this annoyed me as I felt this was too blatant in trying to get me to spend more. The bed was fine. The staff were fine. While I rested well, there were some aspects of my stay that I found irksome.

Room was bigger than the usual small hotel rooms but here they use key for door access. Overall was a good stay and was comfortable.
