Au Club Alpin

10/10. It is a lovely hotel but the staff really make a difference. We were doing the TMB and arrived at the end of day 4 looking awful. The front of house staff checked us in promptly and as we planned to leave very early the next morning (there was a heatwave) she secured us extra breakfast items and left them with the restaurant staff for us to pick up. We really appreciated that thank you! The restaurant served delicious and incentive food, and didn't make us feel awkward although we didn't 'dress up' nicely since we only had comfortable hiking gear. The spa is also lovely with fantastic views of the mountains and we healed our sore muscles before heading off the next day. Would love to come back to this hotel another time when we are not doing the TMB!

Be quick to visit this stunning restaurant … the Visions Alpine set menu is beautifully presented, cleverly made and stunningly memorable. The location is heavenly and the staff are young and energetic. It’s just a brilliant combination for a truly unforgettable meal. We decided to splurge halfway through hiking the TMB and stay at AU Club Alpin. The location was beautiful, amenities and food were top notch, and loved all the *extra* details that were provided during our stay. We booked the package including half board - this included a welcome drink, 3+ course dinner, and breakfast. All the food was delicious and dinner was beautifully presented. While our room was on the small side, loved the coffee bar setup, availability of fruit and teas in the room, and free soft drinks in the minibar. The bathroom was also very nicely setup. Additionally, my husband and I got a HUGE kick out of the wooden toothbrushes engraved with our names! Extra and totally unnecessary? Yes. Very fun and unique? Definitely. Checked out the spa setup in the morning before we headed out on our hike - they set it up very nicely with seamless indoor / outdoor connection and the infinity hot tub had super powerful jets which were appreciated on Day 5 of hiking. The only comment I would have is that the fitness section of the spa should open prior to 10 AM -- it would have been great to wake up and have ability to stretch / grab a yoga mat in the morning before breakfast. Overall, we only wish we could have stayed there more than one night. Was the ultimate spot for disconnecting and relaxing in upscale surroundings.

Très bel hôtel idéalement situé au pied du lac de champex. Les chambres vue sur le lac sont juste magnifiques, la chambre est très belle, spacieuse et literie confortable. Le spa est petit mais très joli avec une vue sur le lac. Le restaurant incroyable, des plats aussi bon que beaux, des serveurs très sympathique et toujours avec cette magnifique vue sur le lac. Petit-déjeuner très correct. Nous conseillons cet hôtel, bien que un peu cher la nuitée, ça vaut le coup de le tester une fois.

Nous avons pris le menu L’Aromatique. C’était excellent. La présentation est magnifique. Les plats sont délicieux et le personnel est au petits soins.Chaque table est disposée afin que nous puissions admirer la vue. Nous nous ferons un plaisir de revenir

Magnifiques plats, belle présentation et bons choix de produits. Le poisson avait juste un peu trop gardé son fort goût de poisson. Et il nous manquait la visite du chef en fin de repas. Sinon tout était parfait. Rien à ajouter mais nous devons apparemment avoir au min 200 caractères..

Petit séjour et dîner au 1465, une belle chambre avec vue magnifique sur le lac, dîner parfait avec des plats originaux, de belles présentations, bref une belle maîtrise! Personnels très sympathiques et connaissant son métier… Bravo à vous

Bel hôtel, super spa et magnifique emplacement. Nous avons par contre été très surpris par le manque de produits locaux au petit déjeuner alors que la région est très riche dans ce domaine : pas de pain de seigle, fromages industriels(un pâte dur et un pâte molle, pas typiques de la région), salade de fruit avec pommes-poires-kiwis alors que c'est la saison des abricots. Il ne manquerait pas grand chose pour que ce petit déjeuner soit à la hauteur de l'établissement et permette aux touristes étrangers de découvrir la richesse culinaire de la région valaisanne.
