Aruba Harmony Apartments

Scam. It’s a one star HOSTEL. Literally, they rent beds with shared bathrooms if that’s what you’re looking for, but the worst part is that we got there and had to wait for about an hour for someone to show up. When Barbara showed up, there were many upset customers waiting and she just said we had to keep on waiting because there was a problem with the reservations. It was already getting night and no room for us, nor a straight answer or someone to talk to us. She double booked rooms and didn’t have enough availability. At the end no solution, no apology and the only thing we got was a strange lady with terrible communication skills and a very bad attitude. I’m surprised this scam is even here on *******. That awful place and personnel don’t belong here.

A nice place with friendly staff

Family ran business. Contacted me directly by Whatapp, which was good because it meant I had a direct contact with someone, should I have needed it. We were in the studio apar**ent which is in a different block. Having read previous reviews about the noise from the lift, we needn't have worried as the studios aren't in the in building with the lift. It was a tad difficult to find our apar**ent initially, but that's probably more a language barrier. Once we found it and worked out which keys were for which door it was a doddle. The apar**ent was clean tidy, with TV (only English speaking channel CNN not that we watched any TV anyway) and a job, fridge, microwave and washing machine in the kitchenette. The bathroom was massive and the jacuzzi bath was a nice touch. The room was really warm, and the hot water instant. WiFi provided too.This building is situated in a courtyard and there are rules about making a noise. That suited us to a tee as we had a 9year old with us some went back to the apar**ent after our day of exploration and dinner. Suited us perfectly as Budapest night life isn't really suitable for children. Staff were friendly and you can leave your cases at the reception either before or after check in, for free, which was really useful. I got sent a YouTube video on how to find the reception, which was easy to follow. It's not like a typical hotel, but we found it fabulous. A great experience and we'd highly recommend here for a family break

Pros: Location (walking distance to most of the good sites, also very close to Metro stations) Extremely convenient if you arrive on Budapest airport (2 mins away from the 100E bus stop) Huge rooms Excellent communication and fast check-in Complimentary bottle of wine and 2 bottles of water Clean room and bathroom Cons: Terrible noise isolation of the building, you can hear everything Overall very pleasant stay

Property was exactly as advertised but we didn't get our deposit back ( we had NO IDEA that a deposit was even required) because no one was there when we checked out. Even though we checked out during the time stated to do so posted on the office door. Both phone numbers we called were not even working ??? Property was great we enjoyed our stay but extremely frustrating to lose your deposit and then have ZERO CONTACT from them afterwards .

My Wife And I had such an amazing time in Aruba. Barbara who was our host greeted us upon arrival. We were given a wonderful room with poolside view. It was everything we expected as we were trying to capture the true Island vibe. The garden and decor along with the ambiance was truly serene. The location was close to everything and I really enjoyed a short ride thru the neighborhood which made us feel like we had someone to actually visit at a home while on vacation. That was nice. I give Harmony 5 stars.

Aruba Harmony, best place to be! Excellent place in Oranjestad. Very clean. Amazing location and super price! Beautiful cosy resort, just between down town and the beaches. Room with kitchen, comphorftable beds. Pool is nice, garden well kept. Professional services, fabulous breakfast! We booked one night but decided to stay 10 day more. Aruba Harmony the best place to be!

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS HOTEL AND THE RECEPTIONIST WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! They will promise and lie right to your face and then turn around and not have any intention of following through. I have never been treated so terribly by a company in my life! DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED WELL!! WATCH YOUR CREDIT CARDS TO MAKE SURE THEY DONT CHARGE YOU MORE BECAUSE THEY WONT REFUND THEIR MISTAKES!!
