Fairstay Resort Ooty

Untidy rooms, unclean surrounding, unhygienic breakfast room. Worst experience ever. Manager was rude and got angry on my parents without any reason. This hotel has no right to be in the business. Tourism ministry should take note of this and act.

Very clean, fabulous rooms, Excellent property and great Hospitality, Enjoyed the stay. Tasty food and very well maintained, location of the property is reachable to many scenic places. Over all had a very good experiece

Walked into a room full of mildew. Not sure when it was last used. Sheets and bedding have hairs on them, walls have huge cracks. We are just here for a nights sleep and nothing more, thankfully. Not a 3 star hotel, not worth the money (we paid Rs. 4100 for the 4 person room with two king beds). No toiletries and the young guy at the front desk couldn’t even be bothered to give us some toilet paper. Hot water was nonexistent, even after letting the water run for 30 minutes as suggested by the manager. Ice cold showers with an outside temp of 11 Celsius makes for torture. On the plus side, check in was nonexistent and took literally one minute. Manager is a nice guy caught in a tough situation; he does his best but the facilities are just too run down. Breakfast is S. Indian and fine. I suggest you take your money elsewhere; there are hundreds of hotels that are likely better and closer to the center of town. You will be paying for a taxi to take you the the heart of Ooty to shop and dine anyway. Yes, that’s a big old rat in that picture, saw him outside the room next to ours on the way to breakfast, appetizing!

RooM Tarrif is OK ***** with complimentary food, Room service is very poor In Dining Hall, they will prepare during the Breakfast time so that we should all wait for long time to get our needs. WORST tea and coffee will be provided. They will charge extra for the Breakfast provided for the cab drivers.

A fair stay at this fair stay. Super climate and good environment. Awesome rooms and bathrooms are also too good. Food is nice to eat. Service also good. Nice hotel to stay. This hotel is surrounded by an amazing nature.

We booked a tour for 3D 2N with Fairstay and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was extremely humble and always on toes to serve us better! Special thanks to Mr Mani & Vikram for their awesome hospitality and warmness with which they served us all throughout! The room also came with a scenic beauty of waterfall on one side and mountain view from the other. Though we found the prices to be a bit on the higher end considering it was off season (deducting 1 star for that only), but otherwise it would have been a 5 star!!

One star for their eagerness to serve and one for the cleanliness. This hotel may be suitable for people who are visiting from TN or adjacent states but for people like us from Northern part of India this hotel is not recommended. They do not have any room service. They do not have a proper restaurant. The food is below average with hardly any choice for non vegetarians. The wash basin doesn't have hot water! Rooms are not spacious enough. But more than this hotel I would blame Make My Trip for including this in their holiday package. Just to make a package attractive they have included this!

Excellent facilities and service by Mr. Mani and Mr. Mari. Good hospitality and made our trip memorable. Rooms were very spacious. Complimentary breakfast was good and even dinner was delicious. Recommended to improve the approach road and rooms facing mountains side requires fencing coverage.
