Meryan Hotel - Ultra All Inclusive

There are so many positives to write about the Meryan. Firstly, they very much tick all of the important boxes - the hotel is clean, the service is friendly, the food offering is vast, the bars are well stocked, the staff are polite and there is entertainment every night. However, there are just a few things stopping me giving this 5 stars. 1. Unfortunately the mattresses in the rooms feel cheap and hard. 2. They regularly have their staff walking around trying to hard sell you something. 3. The food can be a little hit or miss depending on the time you turn up. 4. As a British Holidaymaker, this hotel is more tailored to Germans and Polish. 5. Don't consider having an early night as it's highly likely you'll be hearing the entertainment until late. Let me caveat some of the above. 1. The rest of the rooms are very good, spacious / clean and the air con is superb. 2. I understand if I was on the beach being sold to, but not on the resort by their own staff. 3. It's buffet style, but with the volume of people, some food can be cold 4. I don't have any issues with the staff being much friendlier to the Germans as they are the majority. The alcohol range of "local spirits" is actually really good - great selection of cocktails, red and white wine are very drinkable. Food caters for everyone - hot, cold, meat, fish, pasta, healthy, unhealthy, there is always a wide range. Definitely worth coming to, and well worth the money.

Hotel is located next to the busy highway so the traffic noise in hotel room is audible 24h. No way to sleep well in such conditions. We reserved room with side view to the sea but in reality it was more side view to the highway than sea. Lucky after two days we managed to change it to the expected one. In plus hotel is extremely clean. Available food is good and made mostly from local products. Staff is very kind and helpful. Unfortunately quality and quantity of amenities is very limited: no welcome drink, no tissues in bathroom, no body lotion, change of beach towels is extra paid. Non smoking area in the beach is only in theory - nobody cares about that from staff and visitors.

Hotel is not 5 starts, it’s 3 stars max. Wifi is not included, they charge 1eur per day per device (ridiculous!). All our family members had food poisoning with temperature! Hygiene is very poor! Gym and indoor pool not ventilated, really outdated. The inside pool actually greenish meaning not cleaned properly (lack of chloride). Sauna and steam room not clean and hygiene and barely working. Billiard and table tennis extremely old and billiard is for extra fee! There’s nothing to do and location is terrible facing motorway! It’s not relaxing in any way as it’s very noisy place, air cons are extremely loud you can hear it during all night! If you want to have a proper holidays for the same price there’s much better options or pay extra but get a proper resort, don’t waste your money and annual leave with this place. Really enjoyed our holiday at the meryan we have one full day left, staff work extremely hard! Special mention to Hasan in the restaurant for making us feel special every dinner time, even beautifully decorating our table tonight. The beds are comfortable the maids are brilliant, everywhere is clean the staff are constantly keeping it tidy. The entertainment staff are very creative every day coming up with something different. The food is excellent very talented chefs. Can't fault a thing! Thank you to all the staff

Amazing hotel and great experience. Ignore any reviews about it being terrible as some people moan at anything tiny. The food was nice but maybe more vegetarian options would of been nice. Rooms were clean and spacious. Bar had many choices of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for everyone and had an ice cream freezer too! The pools were lovely and by the pool area is the path to the beach. Honestly not one bad thing to say about the hotel as it had a doctors room and shops within the hotel too. Will definitely be going back at some point😁😁

Restaurant and food - Really, every day they managed to offer something new. And food tasted very good. There was a large variety of food. After few days waiters did not even ask us anymore, what we want to drink. As soon as we sat down, our favorite drinks were served before we could even ask. Irmak and Arda were the ones who cached our eyes. So friendly, always smiling, always appearing at our tables on the right time. Rooms were very well maintained and very clean. Minibar was filled dayly. I liked that in mini bars they were using glass bottles. Also beach towels you can change for a little amount of money, but towels themselves are free in the room. Just changing costs. Im happy to see, that Meryan is going forwards of thinking green. There was ice cream offered near the pool bar and waffles were made. My child was using mini club every day, My home is filled with different drawings, paper-snakes, painted rocks and so on. Also she enjoyed mini disco a lot 😊. At one evening show I was totally surprised, when at the end of a fire show I found out, that it was not bought in show, but they were Meryans own team! Just megasuper! We watched shows every evening. And one evening they had Halloween party, with face paintings and ghostly balloons, free of charge for every child. Pools were clean, beach was nice, water was warm. Slides were exactly in right size – not too small, not to big. We also used SPA and indoor pool. Again – super service!!

I’ve just come back after spending a week here, just myself and my 16 year old daughter. First holiday abroad in 5 years. Did not disappoint. From start of booking the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. All the staff here are an asset to this hotel and they make the experience 5 star! Firstly Ismail in reception helped us with a great room, with a sea and pool view, spacious and clean. Room 392. Ismail also helped us book an amazing boat trip. Cleaners each day left us with fabulous towel displays, the elephant being our favourite. We were excited to come back and see what they had done each day. The bar staff were so friendly and we had a great time day and night, lots of giggles. Especially Enes on the late night bar who also helped me out when my broken toes swelled up with advice on medication etc in Turkey. (Broke my toes 2 weeks before the holiday) I didn’t catch the security chiefs name, but he was also a great help and so friendly every single evening. Yosef and his entertainment team did an amazing job of putting on a great Halloween party, so much effort went in in such a short time. Activities throughout the day and evening. ****** nights, party night, Dance shows, quad biking. Pools were clean and no problem Getting a sun bed each day. We did go to the beach one day but it is very stoney, my broken toes couldn’t stick it. However the sea was clear blue and warm to swim in. I wish I could’ve spent more time there. My only quibble would be that I would like to see more premium drinks on offer. I wouldn’t mind paying a euro or two extra for a drink on top of all inclusive to have decent vodka behind the bar. The best review I can give is that we are looking to rebook next October and stay for two weeks as one just wasn’t enough. Great staff! No problem being English at all as per prior reviews from others. The staff make this place a much better hotel and a really enjoyable holiday 🥰 Just to add The hotel has been painted since the picture on trip advisor in a lovely white and cream. And sunbeds are all beige cushions with white parasols very pretty and clean.

Found our rep outside Antalya airport who pointed us in the direction of our bus … we found it at the far end of the row … it was a rickety minibus , slow , filthy & not mechanically sound from the way it chugged along about the same speed as a milk float …. Not the usual form of transport ?? After an hour or so & Despite having several under 5 yr olds on board the driver stopped at a roadside fast food / toilet / shop for 15 minutes!! Tired babies & parents who needed beds not refreshments.. shocking …only one passenger got off to have a smoke .The driver had his 15 minutes … on we went .. 1.5 hours after leaving airport .. our hotel was the second stop , greeted rather grudgingly by reception staff , no welcome drink , no cool facecloth … 5 stars ? not as far as we were concerned from previous experience in Turkish 5 star hotels …. The Meryan wasn’t off to a good start . Finished check in with a flurry of information, paying to use a safe and the Wi-Fi although not expensive.. is not what you would expect either at a 5 star establishment! we were aware of this … but only after booking . We were then shown and by this I mean pointed in the direction of the lift ! Found the room on the first floor easy enough , opened the door to an average but clean room with a double and a single bed in as seen on the hotel blurb but as a couple we expected a king size bed ? The room stank of drains , the bed had no quilt or top sheet just a cotton blanket too small for the bed and akin to the ones I swaddled my babies in …firm mattress & pillows …too firm !,no comfort at all despite being exhausted after a long day ! no cold plates of food in room ….. mini bar with water ,two soft drinks fizzy water & 2 beers … concierge turns up with cases … walks us through air con & minibar .. ok .. we’re tired it’s 3 am ish by now .. it’s been a long day try to get some sleep , tomorrow is another day ….🤣🤣 But for the first time ever I dont unpack as currently I’m thinking of going home asap …Can’t sleep because I can hear the road traffic it’s 5.30 am here god knows what it’ll be like in rush hour ! Motorbikes screaming by cars & lorry’s too no motorway was mentioned in the blurb … nigh**are start to our first holiday in 12 months .. writing this because I won’t be getting much sleep here and will be heading to reception to request a different room at first light . This is our 5th trip to Turkey, all have been 5 star & felt like it … this is our first in this particular area though clearly this region thinks 3 star hotels are entitled to 5 star rating !! It’s a joke 😡 It is a concrete jungle with hotel after hotel so close to each other very claustrophobic and the loud music from each hotel at different times of the day is deafening! Not a place conducive with relaxation. We changed room the following morning, with surprisingly little fuss other than from what I assume was the disgruntled head of housekeeping who instructed us to go move our bags to the new but

Very nice hotel. Look like new. Rooms are clean and stuff is helpful :) Food is very good. You have every day another menu a special dishes. Every night there is a show with different artists. I really recommend this hotel for vacations:)
