Appalling service. I’ve been staying here almost weekly for a few months. Tonight took the biscuit. I went to the restaurant at 6:40 and was told by “Lorraine” they were full until 7:00. Looking around with perhaps 4 or 5 tables being occupied it was clear they were less than full. Then I was told it was because they only had one chef on. So, why can’t I sit down and just order, work and wait – well apparently that wasn’t an option, I needed to wait 20 minutes and come back. What a messed-up notion of customer service. I truly believe that Lorraine, shouldn’t be in the hospitality business. Curt, unhelpful, and obviously not wanting to be here. Maybe she just had a bad day, but whatever it is both Lorraine and Premier Inn need to better understand that they have guests, and those guests should be accommodated to the best of their abilities. Frankly, unless I get an apology, I will be looking for another hotel in Nottingham, one which has a higher regard for their customers.
