Muses Seaside Villas

One of the best places we have stayed in Greece. Family run with private beach with canoes to explore the coastline. We lived in a 3 room flat which had everything you possibly can need on a holiday. Wifi was also good. After a week we felt like a part of the family and will come back as soon as we got the time.

Perfect location within an hour of Nafplion, Mykines, Epidavros and the mountains of Arkadia. Amazing views overlooking a beautiful, quiet beach with plenty of beach equipment for all to borrow. The rooms are spacious and simply furnished but functional. The owners live on the property and couldn’t have been more delightful. But it’s the small things that make the biggest difference. The shaded carports to keep cars cool. The plentiful coffee, olive oil, vinegar and other basics in the kitchen. The cold water bottles by the pool. The fact that every morning all the umbrellas are in place and the chairs tucked under waiting for the guests. And I could keep going. Lucas and Sylvia are unobtrusive yet always out and about keeping things up. We wish we could have stayed longer than the three days…

Slice of heaven, warm welcome from Sylvia with nothing too much trouble and lots of thoughtful touches in the simple yet perfectly comfortable apartment. A simply stunning location with gorgeous views from our terrace and almost deserted, private beach that is perfect for morning snorkelling, cliff jumping and kayaking (all gear provided) and then afternoon sun lounging there or by the pool. Our whole family loved it and we’d happily return / recommend.

We booked this apartment for a week in August 2022. We had a hire car for the week, which is essential for this villa location (~2hrs from Athens). The 2-bedroom apartment itself was clean and spacious, with a kitchenette with all the basics, a balcony offering plenty of space to sit, eat, drink and relax, air conditioning in the living room and main bedroom, and fantastic views of the sea. The swimming pools lower down in the complex were amazing - great views of the sea, lots of loungers and free cold drinks. The small bathroom however needs modernising, with a hand-held only shower-head, wobbly taps and poor lighting. The wifi was also patchy and meant the promised “smart tv” experience was not possible. The service was very friendly and well-intentioned but the mixed method of communication via WhatsApp and *********** was clunky, with contradictory messaging at times on facilities and the service offering. Beyond the apartment, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants were easy to get to by car, only a short drive along the coast. Towns such as Nafplio, Argos and Corinth were also easy and quick to get to. Touristy sites such as Kalamata, Olympia and others are further away. Overall, I think these apartments are in a lovely location, making for a very pleasant holiday in Greece - I would highly recommend it!

Μείναμε σε μια εξαιρετική βίλα με μαγευτική θέα που μπορεί να ανταποκριθεί στο έπακρο ακόμα και στον πιο απαιτητικό επισκέπτη. Η θερμή υποδοχή της Σύλβια αλλά και οι σημαντικές υπηρεσίες, που με ευγένεια και την καλύτερη διάθεση προσέφερε μας έκαναν από την πρώτη στιγμή να αισθανθούμε άνετα και όμορφα. Οι αναμνήσεις που έχουμε από το Muses seaside villas συνθέτουν μια υπέροχη εμπειρία που κάθε επισκέπτης αξίζει να ζήσει!
