I didn’t get the room I asked for and had to switch rooms because the air conditioner in the room they gave me wasn’t working. So that was an inconvenience!

So when I got there, it was nice and peaceful. The lady at the desk told us the tvs were not working, which should’ve been a red flagged but I continued my stay there. After going up, the door to our room made a noise every time it opened and closed and the curtains were broken so we could not close them. Overall, this hotel needs some work, as things were broken, breakfast was eh at best. Personally, I wouldn’t come back here even if it is cheap.

Clean enough, quiet, and relatively comfortable. The beds were not the most comfortable I've ever slept on, and the place could use a facelift. Overall, you get what you pay for. It was fine for the price and met my needs!

Handling of our reservation was unprofessional. It took 75 minutes to check in because what we reserved they said was unavailable. We requested a refund, called ******* and then they made what we reserved available. The hotel has poor business practices, they were very unknowledgeable of how to handle issues, and to a degree were dishonest. For days they had no television service. They had no sign to tell customers but waited until they got into their rooms for them to find out. Further, we had a 12 noon check out due to the earlier inconvenience, and at 11:10 am, someone overrides the lock and enters the room. Our phone, which did not work to call out, worked to call in, asking when we are leaving. Again, a very unprofessional site and we challenge you ******* to better vet the sites you offer on your site. We have had numerous bad experiences recently and we now see you as the common denominator. This location had a 9.0 rating, where the rating should be more of a 2-3.

The room was very small, but that is what one expects in New York. The bathroom had no heat source. We had closed the door to keep the light out, so in the morning it was like ice. The wall-to-wall windows were magnificent. Staff were very helpful.

Upon seeing the building driving up, I thought it’s a nice building. Upon pulling in, the driveway was full of slush and ice, as well as the parking area. I got the suite with jacuzzi tub and only 2 out of the 6 jets worked. Their was hair in the tub (jacuzzi tub). Breakfast was not what I expected. A waffle and unflavored cereal is a shame but……
Overall, it was an ok stay. Probably wouldn’t stay here again, but the staff was friendly so there’s that.

The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because of convenience. It's in close proximity to a lot of what you come to NY for, and is surrounded by some pretty good places to eat. Front desk sits behind bulletproof glass and acts as if you're bothering them. The room and hotel overall is clean and the cleaning staff are nice ppl, BUT you'll know it's clean because of the overuse of Fabuloso. Dated hotel overall, could use renovations. Not the easiest place to enter or exit with a car, but parking lot was safe enough.

Close to NYC for a quick stay, however the property is very dated and rooms smelled very musty. Furniture is old and needs to be changed. Staff were ok, but not I wouldn’t consider them to be friendly or to make one feel welcomed. Wouldn’t stay here again.
