We missed the last ferry to Norderney, so we were looking for a place to spend the night. The hotel is in a non-descript part of the small town of Norddeich and does not look much from the outside. rooms are comfy and large. There are no services around the hotel, so one would have to go with their buffet dinner, and breakfast. Both are extensive and quite good, but do have their price. The dinner buffet also closes very early, around 19.30. At the time of our stay, guests consisted of vacationing families and friendly Dutch sailors. The hotel also has an outdoor pool, a jaccuzzi and a tiny round sauna. The receptionist was friendly, but completely overworked, as he had to do the reception, serve dinner and also man the bar.
