Stay Nikko Guesthouse

The host is incredibly friendly and provides detailed explanations about Nikko. The place is exceptionally clean and tidy, including the floor under the sofa. The room is more spacious than expected, and the movable table allows us to easily open our large luggage in the room without any issues.

Owners were friendly and have an good understanding of travelers’ needs. Very good language capabilities and communication skills.

My family of 5 stayed here for 3 nights in the loft villa. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed. The host met us as we arrived and gave us a full run down on the accommodation and local attractions with a detailed maps. The loft villa was perfect. Kitchenette, dining table, lovely bathroom, tatami room and upstairs loft space for sleeping. The stairs were quite steep but manageable. We (parents) slept upstairs and the children downstairs. It was well located in walking distance to train stations, 7 eleven, restaurants, Shintaikyo bridge and Toshogu Shrine. At the end of the stay the host took us and our luggage to the train station in 2 trips. This was a wonderful end to our stay in Nikko not having to worry about getting the luggage and children to the station. Thank you so much Stay Nikko Guesthouse ❤️

We loved Stay Nikko Guesthouse. It has everything you need and is very spacious. Ken was so enthusiastic and happy to provide advice and recommendations that were really helpful. He even drove us to the station in the morning. What a lovely guy!

Wonderful stay! Stayed in the deluxe villa with 2 children and my husband. It was the perfect place. Spacious and clean. Shout-out to the host, he really goes all out to have you enjoy your stay: warm welcome, tips for sightseeing and food, ... . Definitely recommend!!

Stay Nikko Guest House is a wonderful accommodation option. The property is ideally located, close to all that Nikko has to offer. The property was quiet, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Kenji is a wonderful host, very welcoming and keen to share helpful information. Highly recommended.

This was a perfect stay for our family of 5 over three nights. We were in town for a hockey tournament. There were enough beds for all of us to sleep comfortably. Each of our kids had thier own bed and my husband and I shared the full/queen. Seriously, this might be the most comfortable place we have stayed in Japan over the last two years. My younger two really enjoyed the bunk bed set up. We woke up to a winter wonderland and the view from our room was breathtaking. I'm from southern California and so are my kids, so the snow was enchanting. It was a wonderful location to celebrate Chris**as with the family in between games. Our villa had a microwave, toaster oven, and fridge with freezer, dishes, utensils, a kettle, more than enough towels and toiletries. The host is incredibly welcoming, kind, and informative. He had a map layed out and labeled for us in English of great places to eat and visit that were within walking distance. He took the time to explain it all to us. I enjoyed reading all the notes previous vistors have left in the guest books. Nikko is incredibly beautiful and this modern space fits in nicely, a few streets back from the main road.

A marvelous stay in a spacious and well equipped apar**ent. Not just a room, it included a kitchenette and lovely views, and a certain personalized charm. Way more than one would expect for the price, especially suitable for a family. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. They had lots of good advice and were willing to find out more if need be. They spoke good English and pointed us to our best meal in Japan. I'd certainly stay here again and again.
