We were setup in a room on the first floor where I was told they recently changed the toilet to one that was quiet. Unfortunately, the problem was it took a very long time to refill to be able to flush again. The room was also far from the boiler, there was a sign inside the washroom advising that it may take 3-5 mins for hot water to be available. I ran the taps for well over that duration and the water was only warm at best. The washroom was also dated.
I immediately spoke to Tiara at front reception who looked into this for me. I let her know that I was intending to cut my 2 night stay short if they could not move me.
Tiara was great. When she was on the phone with the manager, it sounded like they wanted me to settle for that room. But Tiara took the matter into her hands and arranged for us to change rooms. I was very happy that she did this for us and so our weekend was not ruined.
Breakfast was included. It was really mediocre with yogurt, toast, cereal, and waffles. Also milk, oj, tea, coffee. Hot dogs, sausages and hard boiled eggs. Not great, a 2 out of 5, but better than nothing.
Personally I would return. Don’t expect too much and you’ll be fine.
