The hotel didn't look anything like the Stock photo on the app. The parking lot can only fit about 10 cars. We were lucky to get a spot. The building is very old which I wouldn't mind if it was kept up. All the doors have scratches and gouges in them. We were supposed to have a king bed but were given a queen. There is nothing to mute all the noises inside and outside of the building, on one side is an elevated train and on the other a fire station. Inside our room the coffee maker didn't work although once we found staff that spoke English they brought us one that worked. By then my husband had gone up to the coffee bar. Not a relaxing way we like to wake up. Also that morning the toilet wouldn't flush paper. They did come up with a plunger but told us not to flush any toilet paper. The bathroom sink was practically hanging off the wall so there was no where to put toiletries except on the closed toilet (on a clean towel). The shower floor had some black stains/mold? So we were not comfortable using the shower.
See pictures below. The worst part is that we paid almost $200 dollars for this room. I have stayed in much nicer NYC hotels in nicer neighborhoods for less than half of that price.
The pic of the with brown liquid is coffee that I tried to pour down the sink, that is what was left after trying to rinse out the sink.
