When the smell of deodorizer hits you the second you open the door, you know the place isn’t pristine. Sheets were clean, duvet cover worn. No facial tissues. No washcloths. Lobby perfunctory. Staff gruff. You can do better.

The elevator was very loud. The room was small but neat. The snacks were better than I thought they would be. I didn't try the restaurant but it was very popular. The staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel is close if you are going to Peloton Studios!

This hotel does not live up to the Marriott standard. I was shocked at how run down and dingy this hotel was upon arrival. The lobby is small and dirty. The hallways and elevators are scuffed, dirty, and poorly lit. The rooms are outdated and are not represented by the pictures you see on the Marriott site nor the hotel site. The room was dirty, dusty, and outdated. There were multiple scuff marks and scratches on the furniture and the box spring on the bed had tears along the edge. We left after one night and won't be back.

This is a fine hotel for New York City. The location is great and two short blocks from a 7th Ave subway stop. Our [basic] room size was fine (~180 sq feet). The hotel is small and dated, but was clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful. For what we paid, it was an excellent bargain.
