Sonder Lafayette Square

This place is hard to find, even with the address in hand. There is no sign above the narrow entrance doorway where it's wedged between a bodega & another business. There is no front desk. If you arrive 2 minutes early, as we did, you will be locked out. The elevator was out of order for all of the 4 days we were there; not great when you're on the 3rd floor & have a coronary history. No dresser in the bedroom & a tiny vanity in a large empty bathroom. Only one portion of coffee, & the supposed extra supply in the hallway was always empty. Shower head mounted much too low, & shower curtain 8 inches too short. Tub water spout not correct, resulting in water spillover causing drywall rot where bathtub meets wall. Only good thing was the location.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and convenient to where we wanted to visit. The beds were comfy, and the kitchen and living room areas were the perfect place to relax after touring the city. We will definitely consider staying here on our next trip to New Orleans.

We stayed in the two bedroom, two bathroom, supreme apartment with balcony this past week. This was perfect for our family of 5! This apartment was very large and gave us ample space to spread out. We loved the balcony with the quintessential New Orleans style railing. We had the end unit and our balcony was wrap-around (room 204). It was also nice to have the washer and dryer right there in the unit. It was only a 5 minute walk to the French Quarter and felt safe. There was an affordable restaurant across the street called Daisy Dukes that was great for breakfast. We never had any issues with parking. I was worried about parking and having to cart our luggage after dark from a parking garage. All three nights we stayed there, we paid to park right in front of the apartment with a meter (you only pay from 8-5, overnight is free). My only suggestion would be that a couple chairs and small table would have been a great addition to the balcony for nightly sitting or morning coffee.

Great location, clean, spacious and self-service. Confortable bed, modern decor, everything you need for your stay, including plentiful toiletries, coffee and tea. Pretty responsive for the most common questions and assistance. Walk everywhere it's centrally located to Bourbon St, shops, restaurants and trolley.

The place was very clean and the location was convenient. Full kitchen was great to feel like a home and having a deep bathtub comforted nights in soaking tired bodies. I truly recommend this place!!

Everything was wonderful would stay again. It was clean and nice looked just like the photos it was a parking garage right across the street we cooked breakfast and ate out at the beautiful restaurant close by and bourbon st was a close walk

Apartment was exactly what we needed as a respite from the hustle and bustle of New Orleans. Perfectly located in the CBD. Building was amazing quiet. Bedroom bathroom was amazing with 2 showers in the Master and another 1/2 bath at the other side of the apartment

My son and I really had a great time. The apartment was exactly like the pictures. We had everything in the apartment that we needed and we felt right at home. It was only a 7 minute walk to Bourbon and Canal Street and if you don’t mind walking more, you can walk to the Riverfront and French Market. [My son and I are hikers]. There is so much to do in the area. Checking in was super easy and our stay was very enjoyable. There were several restaurants and things to do in the area which was great. I can't wait to visit again.
