Really awful beds . Two singles pushed together, ( which we did not mind ) but they were so light & flimsy they kept moving . The noise from the floor above was awful all night long, it sounded like someone moving furniture constantly or maybe it was their beds moving . The Pillows were lumpy and horrible . The Beds were really poor quality and very hard. We did not sleep well and moved to another hotel the next day despite having booked and paid for three nights . I did mention this to the receptionist when we left . Our loss but we could not spend another night there . The Pool and jacuzzi are nice though not heated and great views from the rooftop.

Have stayed at the Mena Plaza hotel several times. I've also stayed at 6 other hotels in Nerja, this hotel takes pride of place. The location is superb and the staff are extremely friendly. Cleanliness seems to be a priority which is a bonus. As to the staff they are very welcoming. I'd like to mention Mata on reception and Phillipe in the cafeteria they go the extra mile to ensure that you are well catered for. Angelo and Elena on reception and Sofinan in the cafeteria are also helpful. This hotel never fails to meet our needs, fully recommend.

We should book 3 rooms for friends but decided to book at another hotel. The reason why we didn't book: Our friends were charged for icecubes when ordering a glass of wine. 20 cent per person for ice cubes. This got really expensive for Mena. We are definately not booking in the future as long as they charge for ice cubes 3 double rooms in 3 days - this is what the lost

I recently stayed at Mena Plaza Nerja and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is very nice and offers excellent value for money. Its location is perfect, being very central and making it easy to explore Nerja. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained. One of the highlights is the small pool on the roof, complete with a hot tub – a great spot to relax and enjoy the views. The staff are very friendly and attentive, making the stay even more pleasant. I would highly recommend Mena Plaza Nerja if you are traveling as a couple. However, it might not be the best choice for families, but for couples, it's ideal. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit.

Hotel is spotless, located in a central area with a 2 minute walk to the main square. Rooms were cleaned each day and new towels left. We requested a room facing the square, I think the first floor rooms all have sunlougers on their balcony. You can request towels for the swimming pool from the reception if needed. The hotel is around 7-10 minute walk from the bus station. There is also a supermarket right next door to the hotel.

Superb hotel ! What a great find. Located in a lovely square, a couple of minutes walk to the beautiful balcon de europa. We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome from Elena on the hotel reception who couldn't have been more helpful. Both the hotel and adjoining cafe are spotlessly clean. Hats off to all the staff, who are very welcoming, very polite and work so incredibly hard, to ensure guests have the best experience. Keep up the good work team.

Excellent Excellent hotel in a great location. Very clean. Lovely staff. Breakfast good value but in a small basement room so next time we will have on the terrace. Bit noisy outside over the weekend with lots of children playing ball games and parents enjoying the beer, wine and tapas.

Pluses: *location : perfect with a short stroll through the plaza towards the beach * cleanliness : as luck has it, we were able to check-in early due to availability and a strong waft of bleach greeted steps away from the room entrance - cleanliness is indeed hotel's top serious priority 😜 *staff : the safe in the room was temporarily unaccessible; this was promptly fixed by the lady in charge; courteous and prompt hospitality throughout *room : functional with mini fridge (no kettle), strong shower and mini balcony Could be improved: * parking : paid private carpak at €12/day. Perhaps the daily rate could be further improved? We were out most of the time and only parked at night but it was near to impossible to find a slot on the street.

Great place to stay in the center of Nerja. You can go everywhere just walking (we loved the restaurant Oliva, just going down the stairs). It can be too noisy because of the children birthday parties at the café on the square though.
