Bluewater Resort by Elliott Beach Rentals

Oceanfront with fantastic views from large balcony area. Very friendly atmosphere. Mutiple pools and hot tub and sauna.

This by far was the cleanest, most friendliest place to stay for our first trip to Myrtle Beach. Staff was helpful and courteous, accommodations were beyond our expectations. We hope to return next year!!!!

The best part was the ocean front balcony, it was huge! There was an extra large chaise lounge, big enough for 2 to cuddle up comfortably. We watched the sunrise every morning while we had our coffee. We even saw a dolphin swim by. The 2 bedroom place was spacious, clean, and had a cute beachy decor (unit 902). The place was equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen. It was super nice that there were two bathrooms and a washer dryer. The resort had multiple pools, including a heated indoor-outdoor pool and a dry sauna. They had a restaurant on the first floor, but it was closed during the off season. I loved being right on the beach. Can’t wait to go back.

Unit #811 From out of state and from the pictures posted online I rented this 800sq.ft. room for $1600, what a disappointment! I knew I wouldn't get my money back from somebody that had already been so dishonest. So I did stay in #811 for the remainder of the time I had already paid for, but immediately started looking for a place that I could view in person. Not only did I find a beautiful clean spacious 3 bed 2 bath home for $1300 with a full kitchen, a W/D and still an ocean view. It was only $1300 My advice-keep looking before you ruin your vacation in this room

Rating the resort itself, not our unit (which was fine but had lots of wear and tear.) When we first arrived we tried to walk in to the front desk area, but it was closed at 12pm on Tuesday. We had to contact our unit management company to get into the building/unit. The beachfront location is very nice and there is a lifeguard stand right outside of the hotel. The Lido deck was great and a perfect spot to grab a drink or a snack. The resort has 3 pools, one of which one has a vball net and one that is 1’ deep for little ones. It also has 2 hot tubs, one indoor and one outdoor. If that isn’t enough, there are 2 pools across the street that I believe guests have access to. Now the downfalls. Our check out was at 10am and our flight didn’t leave until 5:30pm and we had no where to keep our luggage. When we asked security if there was someplace they would hold it for us, they said there was not. (Maybe they could’ve used the front desk area? It was close the whole week we were there.) We ended up sitting in the lobby for most of the day with all of our luggage. We also had unscheduled maintenance twice in the week we were there. Once we came back from shopping and a man was cleaning our AC unit. It was pretty alarming to walk in and see a person in the apartment with no warning whatsoever they would be there. Especially since I have 2 teenage daughters (14 & 16.) After that I did not feel comfortable leaving them there alone. We were in town for a softball tournament and we’re staying a few extra days to vacation. The first day after the tournament we FINALLY got to sleep in but we were woken up about 9am by someone POUNDING on the door screaming “MAINTENANCE!” When my boyfriend answered, the man explained that they would be coming by to spray for monthly pest control. We had 0 warning of this from the facility or the management company. My boyfriend told them we would be gone in about 30 min and asked if they could come then. The man said they would try and he was just giving everyone a heads up. We went to breakfast, did a little shopping and came back to take a nap. Just to be woken again by another knock on the door, it was the pest control, this time they were there to spray about 3 hours after our warning they would be coming by. Even a hand written note under the door as a heads up would have been great. The parking garage is about a block away and at first it wasn’t a big deal to walk there but it did get a little old walking back and forth. There are a few spots for 15 min parking and security does a decent job of not being annoyingly strict on the 15 min but also making sure people aren’t parking there for the whole day. At the end of the day, the beach was great, the facility was clean, and we enjoyed it.

My little family and I had a blast during our week stay at Bluewater! We rented a condo through AirBnb and lucked out tremendously. Our condo was spotless, cozy, and had no issues. I feel like had we rented straight through the resort, we wouldn’t have been as happy. We had a room on the side of the building that overlooks the ocean and street. Besides noisy neighbors, it was relatively peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views all day. Had an elevator right outside our door! The pools were clean and relaxing and I loved the quick access to the beach behind the hotel. The restaurant on the main floor, DiLisi’s has great staff and tasty bites and drinks. Security was able to be seen patrolling and helping guests, which made me feel safe. I wish there was more parking near the main resort building but there’s plenty across the street and in the garage. I literally have no complaints. Can’t wait to come back again!

Wow! POS accommodations. $700 for a three night stay. Advertised as a 2 bedroom. The 2nd bed is in the living room. Advertised as full kitchen. Most studio apartments have a better kitchen. Room is on the 3rd floor and overlooks the main ***** work all the sound to go along with it. The view in the pictures showed the ocean. Our view is of buildings across the street. The two TV's are not even Smart TV'S. Crappy Dish TV. Limited channel selection. Pool is beside and overlooks the main ***** with no privacy and the sound of the cars is too much. Basically - room and accommodations are not as Advertised. Don't get ripped off like we did. If I had to do it over I would make them pay is to stay here.

Very clean , very well kept and security is awesome ! We rented from VRBO and did have some issues with our condo , sinks backed up ( plumbing not done right ) Old washer and dryer , and AC unit as loud and not working . One of the pools was under construction and they wouldn’t let anyone outside in the only pool that got any sun even though the pool was done . Kept pool area locked on a beautiful day . One heated pool in area that gets no sun , indoor pool a little icky because of all the use it got

This was our 2nd year staying as guests of Bill & Phyllis in condo #305. Our expectations were exceeded, like last year, and we had the most enjoyable time. The location is excellent and the facilities outstanding. Bill & Phyllis are great hosts and are welcoming, considerate, kind and professional. We hope to stay as their guests in the future.
