The staff are freindly, but house keeping leave alot to be desired, had to go to re eption twice whilst on holiday to let them know cleaners hadn't been in and to get fresh towels.Breakfast is good but dinner not the best,same sort of food every day, if you want a drink even water at dinner they charge it to your room or you pay for it at that time. It's quite a walk to the nearest shops although there is a shuttle bus that runs from Sunday to Fri free ,which is good.

This was my third time staying here in the last 18 months and my reasoning for staying this third time was mainly down to cost and location. On a previous stay we had issues with the food but was assured this matter was already in hand and being rectified. It was the same with the state of the furniture in the restaurant and communal areas. The hotel was in my (and others i spoken to during my stay) has not improved and if anything gone downhill. It is not a four star hotel. Upon my arrival i was informed that i had cancelled my room 2 week prior and that there was not a reservation in my name. I asked what to do and got a blank look back from reception staff. If i had cancelled my package deal hotel then why was allowed to get on a plane and once at Palma airport be giving a transfer to the hotel i had apparently cancelled ? I was then informed that Jet2 had cancelled it. Long story short it was rectified and i was eventually given a room but i was made out to be the person in the wrong. It eventually transpired it was an issue with the hotels own booking system !?! Anyway what you want to know about it the food......... I`m a vegetarian. not one of these preaching hippy types, i`m not allergic i have just never eaten meat and ive happily lived this way practically all my life. First night at the hotel i was tired and just settled with Pasta and Sauce, all i wanted was bed. Second night my options were pasta and sauce AND vegetarian lasagne. Oh salad as well. Third night no Lasagne but you`ll be surprised to learn.... Plain Pasta and sauce was back on the menu again..... None of the food is labelled and no description as to what is in each serving station. I asked the Chef to point out what was Vegetarian safe and was told the Pallela (it had prawns in it) and the cold rice (it had ham in it). I complained to the restaurant manager. He blunty informed me of my vegetarian options that were cold rice, plain pasta, salad and sauce. Thats it. Even though that night i counted EIGHT different meat meals. Not one designated vegetarian option. Informed the night before there was a veggie lasagne and thats it. like it or lump it. I also asked why no food is labelled ? "its too much trouble every night" i also asked at least for a "V" next to vegetarian ..... i received a blank look. Bit like the plain pasta every night. I dined out at a brilliant bar called the white swan. very friendly and lovely meals. also some nice italian places locally and i walked into Alcudia a few times for a Chinese and English food. all great with plenty of Veggie options. I ate breakfast in the hotel which i`ll give them some credit was ok. not brilliant and not to the standard of other hotels ive stayed at on the island but its breakfast and its hard to get this wrong. So for a 7 night stay i ate out 5 times. i`m all inclusive. The chairs have been replaced in the restaurant so well done there. Next step would be to take a look at your menu and sort it out.

Everything was good. But the main function of a hotel room is for sleep, and that was poor. No air conditioning because it’s not warm yet we are waking up boiling hot and stuffy and frankly completely uncomfortable. Would not recommend outside the hottest parts of summer.

As many others have written, the staff are friendly and attentive. We noticed the young girls, entertaining the kids each evening in the bar, were putting as much energy into the same action songs as if it was their first time. Food is OK but plenty of it, with enough choice for the majority of fussy eaters (ie Me) to find enough to eat. The big downer is the noise at night. A combination of the sound system in the bar being set on a ridiculous sound level (every night) and the layout of the complex creating an amphitheatre effect. Will definitely go again, but next time will take our own pillows and earplugs.

We stayed here from the 1st til the 8th May. Its a lovely hotel had everything we could want. Friendly receptionist when we arrived. I stayed in a room by myself and paid 23.10e for tourist tax. I also paid 13e to rent a kettle for a week plus a 10e refundable deposit. I thought this was great as I love my cup of tea first thing in the morning. My room was lovely spacious and the balcony was looking our the front of the hotel so it was very peaceful. The pools were lovely and relaxing with great music that suits everyone. I especially loved the adults only pool. Great little supermarket too but the lady working there looked so sad all the time. I just wanted to give her a hug!!! I feel like the only thing that I was dissappinted with was the food. We went bed and breakfast. breakfast was always the same thing sometimes cold. There wasn't much choice for lunch and dinner so we're glad we didn't upgrade. All in all we had a lovely last minute getaway. Playa de muro beach is stunning 😍 Thanks for a lovely holiday

This was a nice hotel with big pools, close to the beach and very helpful staff. A couple of things to note: 1. On Saturday and Sunday night guests were allowed to sing/shout and be generally disruptive until 4am on the poolside area (drifting up via the balconies) and then as they went down the corridors. On the weekdays there was no problem but I think the clientele had shifted a lot from the weekend, it was primarily cyclists at this point. 2. Food at the buffet is not labelled. This led to a vegetarian in our party inadvertently eating meat. This is a big issue in my opinion as anyone with intolerances or allergies might have serious problems. I would go back to this venue though. It was clean and well kept and staff were great.

We wanted a cheap week in the sun and that’s kind of what we got. This place is a bit removed from Muro itself, but it’s only a 10min walk, or there is a bus from the hotel if you needed it. Theres not that much in Muro, I think I was expecting a bit more, not that many bars to go around on a night time, but plenty of restaurants. The beach is very pretty. If you’re looking for a bit of nightlife, you might want to consider somewhere more lively. On to the hotel. Needs a lick of paint on the outside, it doesn’t look like a 4* when you pull up, and there’s other 4*s in Muro that look a lot nicer. We only went B&B, think this was wise. Breakfast was a little uninspired, and people are right about labelling, this needs to be better, even for the people with no allergies. Breakfast did get quite chaotic towards the end of our stay, probably as the hotel filled up. Which is also where all the noise came from too probably. This hotel is noisy! Too noisy for me. Whether it’s people talking by the pool/ outside the bar at 2am (which really needs to be stopped for the sake of other in the hotel there to relax) or the cleaners gearing up chatting and rolling their trollies at 7am or people scrapping furniture or slamming doors at all hours. I slept like rubbish for the last few nights, so left the place exhausted! The pools are nice, especially the adults only one, this gave the place a touch of 4*, and we went everyday the sun was out. Pool is freezing, but nice after baking in the sun. The hotel bar lacks any kind of a**osphere really, which could be fixed easy enough with some better lighting. It’s like a school canteen. Room was basic but we had a balcony with drying facilities and the shower had plenty of power, which can usually be an issue in these bigger hotels. The safe in the room is key operated….code is much better, don’t fancy walking around like a jailer all holiday. The fridge in the room was great, full size, plenty of room for water and beers! All in all, not a great 4* hotel, but it was cheap, so can’t expect luxury for what we paid. I wouldnt go back to this hotel, not sure I’d go back to Muro because there wasn’t enough going on. But for a cheap week in the sun, it did the job.
