The hotel is very nice and the proprietors are both welcoming and helpful. The room was small but adequate and included a small balcony, however, you had to duck to go out to the balcony. The room was very clean and the air conditioning worked great! When I booked this, I was of the understanding that someone was at a front desk until 6 PM. It turns out that there is no front desk, and no one to help you if you need anything. They have a number to call but not the same thing. Because we didn't speak Italian, we were not able to call a taxi (they would hang up on us). So, although this is a very nice hotel, if you don't speak the language, you may want a full service hotel.

A marvelous experience near the lake of Locarno. I booked a room on the 5th floor and nothing disappointed me. The comfort, the silence and the cleanliness really surprised me. The personnel Cinthia and Nadia were more than polite and helped me a lot. At the end, breakfast was good and sufficient. To sum up, a fine choice "value for money".

We booked 2 rooms for 2 couples. One room was charged 420 CHF the other 390 CHF for 1 night. The price is way too much for both rooms but of course this is offer and demand. However the cheaper room didn’t even have a toilet in the room! The more expensive room had 2 toilets and balconies. Neither room had breakfast included. When talking to the managers that room without toilets is much too high compared to the other room, they said yes you are right. The difference is too small. We will increase the price of the better by 100 CHF. They could have offered at least the breakfast or done any other gesture. Also there is no reception. We couldn’t leave the luggage longer than 4pm

We were welcomed warmly by Nadia, who explained everything we needed to know about the hotel. It’s a lovely place located in the heart of Locarno. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious! Our room was small, and there wasn’t enough floor space for two suitcases to be open at the same time, so one suitcase had to stay zipped and be opened on the bed when needed, which was kind of annoying. There’s shampoo and body soap provided but no conditioner, so if you need that as well, make sure to bring it with you. There wasn’t a “do not disturb” sign for the door so if you don’t need/want housekeeping to enter the room you need to inform the staff. The hotel information indicates the opposite—that you have to ask for housekeeping—but we experienced the opposite. You get a free bus ticket so you can explore the neighboring towns, which was a nice perk. Overall this is a nice hotel and I would stay here again.

Siamo tornati a distanza di 4 anni e abbiamo trovato la cortesia e la genuinità di allora. Cinzia e Nadia fanno davvero di tutto per farti sentire a casa. Non posso che confermare il giudizio positivo... un’ottima soluzione per visitare Locarno e dintorni. E speriamo di non far passare così tanto tempo per la prossima visita!

Eines vorweg; sehr freundliche und herzliche Gastgeberinnen! Das Hotel hat zwei Seiten eine gegen die Hauptstrasse und eine gegen den See. Es hat zehn Parkplätze und wer zuerst kommt der bekommt einen Parkplatz. In der Umgebung hat es aber kostengünstige Parkmöglichkeiten. Wir hatten ein Zimmer gegen den See und es war sehr ruhig, trotz der Nähe zur Piazza Grande und zu der Promenade. Zur Promenade am See und zu der Piazza Grane sind es zu Fuss drei bis vier Minuten, durch den hinteren Hotelausgang. Die Zimmer und das Bad/WC sind zu zweit mit Koffern ausreichend. Zimmerübergreifend eher schwach isoliert. Wir hatten kein Safe oder abschliessbaren Kleiderschrank im Zimmer. Für die Kleider gab es einen offenen Kleiderschrank. Im Zimmer gab es einen Wasserkocher mit Tee und Kaffee. TV im Zimmer vorhanden. Das Frühstückbuffet ist ist vielfältig und vollkommend. Das online Self-Checkin und Self-Checkout hat alles ausgezeichnet funktioniert. Auch die Übermittlung der Ticinotickets. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Nach dem online Checkin sollte eine Checkin-Bestätigung per mail kommen. Wir können mit gutem Gewissen dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen! Grazie mille al a prossima
