Just back from a lovely stay. Rooms are fine - not luxurious, but perfectly fine and really clean. Bed comfy. Only one electrical socket though, so bring an extension lead - and the socket is at the opposite side of the bed, so if you want to plug your phone in by the bed, you will need a long extension lead. Hotel grounds are lovely, clean and well maintained. If you look around, there are tortoises, lizards and hedgehogs, which we loved seeing. Pool area is really nice - and we had no trouble getting sun loungers, but we went at the start of the season, so obviously it will get busier. Beach is nice, but make sure you look at the flag before you swim - the first few days the sea was really rough, with really big waves right next to the beach. There was a red flag, but people were still swimming, but it looked dangerous. The rest of the time it was calm and the green flag was up, so we went swimming a few times. There was entertainment during the day - darts, yoga, aqua aerobics, boules, mini golf, belly dancing etc. The entertainment staff were really nice. The evening entertainment wasn’t really to our taste, but lots of people were enjoying it. It was mostly dance shows and karaoke. The food was lovely - better than other all inclusives that we have been to. There was a pasta bar with lots of different types of pasta and ingredients, and you could choose which pasta, which sauce etc and they made it for you. There is a grill, which had different things in each night - things like sea bass, kebab, chops, etc. Next to that, there are a couple of counters with the meat dishes on, and on each meal they had either chips or mash. There was a pizza bar, but if there is nothing to your taste, they will make a pizza for you. There are 3 salad bars with pasta, rice and couscous dishes, and a lovely dessert bar. There is also fresh fruit and a slushy machine. One of the night was fish night - with a sushi bar and a huge paella. Breakfast includes the usual fruits, croissants, yogurts, cereals etc, but they also make omelette to order, fresh crepes and lovely fresh donuts. We were really impressed with the food. All of the staff were lovely, very helpful and they all work really hard. My daughter got a nasty cat scratch from a cat outside the hotel grounds, and the man at reception cleaned and disinfected it for her. One things to mention, is that the majority of the guests are French speaking. Hammamet in general attracts more French speaking tourists than English speaking ones - Brits often tend to go to Sousse. There were maybe 3 or so English families or couples whilst we were there. It wasn’t an issue for us, as everyone spoke very good English, but things like the evening entertainment were mostly in French, with some bits in English. Also, there isn’t much outside the hotel. There is a shop and restaurant opposite the hotel and a couple of shops further up the road. There is a supermarket about 20 minutes walk aw
