Ulasan Mercure Moulins Centre Hôtel de Paris

Very nice welcome on arrival with a very efficient reception team. Rooms are Clean and functional and all seemed dressed in a historic style. Pool area as clean and great for a late afternoon chill session. Bar and other faculties (unfortunately no restaurant) were top drawer. Location is great for travellers who want to explore the area and all facilities are just a short walk.

Arrived in our room to find the toilet had not been cleaned before our arrival! Immediately advised man working on reception who then got very angry and shouted at me. I have never experienced such a poor reception to a hotel stay. It’s a shame as the hotel could be very nice but it’s needs to be thoroughly cleaned (room also very dusty and communal areas dirty, mould in bathroom). The angry little man needs some serious customer service training. I noticed on leaving other guests also complaining about the lack of cleaning.

A very beautiful building , and beautiful typical regency french rooms. All air conditioned very quite cannot hear anyone walking on the carpets, and our room was in front of the lift. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful , escorting you towards toilets, Spa etc. The only downside to the hotel, is though it has a lovely breakfast in the morning, they do not do lunch time or evening meals.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was the usual Mercure standard and was excellent. The large room was very comfortable with a very sizeable bathroom with separate shower and bath. The only criticisms are : - the windows do not open - the carpets should replaced We could not work the AC and on mentioning it to the Reception staff they adjusted it to our required temperature from a central point. If you are staying at the hotel in summer the bedrooms at the front of the hotel are cooler. Overall we were very happy with the hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Having previously stayed several times in a family room as a stop over in central France we felt secure in booking again. Big mistake this year we were allocated a family room up some windy parapet stairs . I usually do a quick corner check of mattresses to look for evidence of bed bugs, black marks staining etc never ever finding a problem in all the hotels we have stayed in . This time to my horror I found in one of the single mattresses a man made cut / hole which contained insect egg casings and many of them . The mattress itself was badly stained a red/ coppery colour. Either it had been treated and not disposed of or we could have had a very bad night of bites and contaminated luggage. The reception was helpful and moved us to the room we had previously which was perfectly clean. So a mixed bag of rooms . We will not be returning.

Lovely room, very well presented in every way. Beautful building and very attentive at reception. We didn't eat in the hotel. The location is perfect and we appreciated the secure parking. Would definitely go back

Notre séjour de 3 jours a été gâché par une odeur d égouts dans la chambre 207 qui est pourtant belle Heureusement le personnel et particulièrement Angélique a été remarquable et compréhensif sans elle nous aurions quitté l hôtel! Il est temps pour mercure de faire des travaux dans cet hôtel qui est vieillissant

Bel hôtel dans un bâtiment historique avec du charme à côté d'une église. Placé juste à côté du centre ville pour visiter ou aller manger au restaurant (excellent conseil du Grand café pour dîner). Personnel disponible et sympathique. Très belle chambre.

Accueil empathique M, chaleureux, professionnel, répondant à toutes nos attentes. Chambres cosy ( chambre familiale) silencieuse et confortable. Conseils avisés sur les visites alentours à mener, Un grand merci, je recommande chaudement.

Het hotel behoort tot de Mercure groep van Accor. De ligging om stadje te verkennen is zeer goed. Er is een betalende parking op het domein van het hotel (rij de straat naast het hotel in). Het hotel wordt omschreven als charmant hotel, wat ook wel eens durft te staan voor "oud". We hadden een familiekamer en die was gelegen onder het dak. De kamer was zeer ruim en er was een badkamer met douche en ligbad (er was beetje schimmel waarneembaar in de douche). De airco deed zijn best maar zelfs op 16 graden kreeg hij de ruime kamer niet gekoeld (buiten was het ongeveer 24 graden maar in de kamer was het merkelijk warmer). Onze familiekamer (302) lag op derde verdiep maar we konden met onze koffers per lift maar tot het t****e verdiep. Nadien moesten we een kleine trap op (ze vertelden niet dat de kleine trap eigenlijk een draaitrap was van ongeveer 40 treden) om naar onze kamer te gaan. Rustig was het er wel... Op het personeel was niets aan te merken: iedereen was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Hôtel très original et charmant. Les chambres ont du caractère et du décoration donnant l’impression d’être une princesse le temps d’une nuit. Mention spéciale à Arnaud à la réception est drôle, professionnel et très hospitalier. Cela fait plaisir d’avoir une personne aussi dynamique et professionnelle comme interlocuteur. En somme, une belle expérience/découverte.

Quel plaisir de séjourner dans cet établissement, l’emplacement d’abord , situé aux portes du centre historique,on peut tout faire à pied , le parking intérieur , bien commode et gratuit, le charme de l’hôtel , les chambres avec literie extrêmement confortable, belle salle de bains avec douche à l’italienne et par dessus tout l’extrême gentillesse du personnel , Un hôtel comme on en fait plus

L'hôtel est très bien situé et la chambre PMR est spacieuse et agencée avec gout. Malgré le fait que la piscine ne soit pas chauffée, il est quand même très agréable de s'y baigner. Le petit déjeuner en libre service permet de satisfaire tous les appétits

L'hôtel est situé à 15 minutes à pied du centre ville et sa localisation permet de visiter facilement toute la ville à pied. Nous avions réservé deux suites privilège. La première correspondait à la description du site et au standard d'un 4*. Dans la seconde le coffre et la climatisation étaient hors service et il y avait une forte odeur de moisi. L'hôtel était au courant mais ils n'ont rien fait. Ils ont juste placé un ventilateur dans la chambre lorsque les températures ont commencé à monter. Le petit déjeuner est correct, mais il ne faut pas arriver trop tard si on veut avoir le choix et les machines à café sont tombées en panne deux fois durant notre séjour. Là encore pas du niveau d'un 4*. Le parking de l'hôtel n'est pas fermé et les emplacements non délimités, le stationnement est donc parfois anarchique et on est pas sur d'avoir une place même si on a réservé. Le personnel est aimable et serviable lorsqu'ils sont présents. Les soins coté SPA sont de bon niveau et le personnel très professionnels. Le seul point négatif est l'espace en lui-même qui est un peu petit et impose parfois une certaine promiscuité. Le personnel essaye tout de même de réduire cet inconvénient en fixant des créneaux de fréquentation. En synthèse, un hôtel bien localisé pour un court séjour si vous avez le chance de tomber sur une bonne chambre. Mais pas du niveau d'un 4*
