Constance Moofushi

From the moment the sea plane landed we were made to feel very special. It was like we were being welcomed to paradise by people who loved being there. Alison greeted us and showed us around the island and to our room. We had booked a beachfront villa and initially had reservations as we are sun worshipers and we got no sun in the garden. However we loved the room! It was rustic and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the softest best pillows we’ve ever slept on ( I want some for home!)The bathroom had two sinks a separate toilet and a wonderful outdoor shower. Our housekeeper Nazeeh was incredible. He checked with us on the first night for any special requirements,including customizing the mini bar to the items we wanted each day. He kept the villa inside and out spotless. The decoration he made on the bed for my husbands birthday was simply stunning. The island is stunning and everywhere so clean and tidy. The house reefs were great for novice snorkels. BD and Tiger looked after us at the water sports hut and taught us to paddle board. There were free excursions. We did the dolphin trip which was fabulous. We were supposed to be doing a sunset cruise but due to bad weather it had to be cancelled :-( The staff are all so friendly and helpful and always smiling. There are so many we could name as they were all brilliant! Most of them knew our names from day 1 and some of them Gopan,Nithin,Afraadh,Shaan and others knew what we liked to drink. The food was amazing. We normally don’t like buffets and prefer a la carte but the buffet here at breakfast,lunch and dinner was always great. Each night there was a different theme. Binju greeted us (such an asset to the resort) she knew where we liked to sit and always had time for a chat with us. A special mention to Priantha the head pastry chef (we don’t normally eat desserts) but the freshly made delicacies drew us in every meal time - every item we tried was delicious. If you like wine this is the place to visit. There is so much choice on the all inclusive menus. At each mealtime a sommelier comes to your table to discuss what you’re eating and then recommends a wine for you to try either by the glass or you can have a bottle in an ice bucket. You won’t be wanting/waiting for your glass to be refilled here.champagne is also included. A big thank you to Madu and his fabulous team. The island pays so much detail to ensuring all the guests are happy. We found there were numerous occasions where the resort laid on extras to make us feel special. At Aleeze restaurant Ritty was very chatty and attentive. Each time we dined there he got the chef to make an extra dish for us to try. He also ensured our moonlight dinner on the beach was special. It was my husbands birthday and we paid extra for the experience and it was so worth it. A very memorable evening. Just returned from Constance Moofushi and was over the moon with the resort and the staff who are absolutely lovely. We had an over water villa and regularly saw Manta rays swimming by. The beaches are stunning as is the food and bar areas. The gym is also very good indeed. I can honestly that this is the best holiday destination I have ever been. Absolutely stunning.

An absolutely amazing place. Our second visit and Constance Moofushi is as good as it gets. Beautiful, personal, world class and simply the best. My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon here in 2022 and it was a pleasure to return in 2024 to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment the seaplane lands and you see the smiling staff waving to you with a warm welcome, the sense of homecoming begins. We had the most fantastic time. The restaurants, the wonderful food and wine, the spa, all the activities and trips, all encompassed by the sheer beauty of the island, make this our special place in the world. But what takes this to another dimension of world class is by far, the staff. Every single person who works here cannot do enough for you. You genuinely sense the friendship, happiness and pleasure of being part of the Constance Moofushi family. We could mention so many of the team, but in particular we’d like to thank: Mevin and Manjula - wow you both have created a team that is proud to represent you. As well your dedication to us and every single guest, you have created a world class mentality for which you should be very proud. Maix - you are an absolute superstar. Your humour, your dedication and the love with which you looked after us was special. Thank you and good luck with your upcoming wedding. Dileep - you are a wonderful chef! For anyone considering a visit to The Maldives, we highly recommend Constance Moofushi. We have visited many wonderful places in the world, staying in some fabulous places. This is our second holiday at Constance Moofushi. We absolutely love it! We really enjoy snorkelling and the house reefs do not disappoint. However, Ismail, who cleaned our room twice a day was a complete star. I also have to mention Mauro who took 4 of us out to a wonderful reef . We've been back from Moofushi for over two weeks now and we're still delighted with our stay, our fourth since 2019. We would like to express our deep gratitude for the exceptional hospitality extended to us during our stay. We're often asked why we keep returning to the same place year after year. After all, there are so many other resorts to try. But this is our fourth time at Moofushi, and we're sure we'll be back again. You come to Moofushi almost by chance, but you come back because of the people who work there. It's the exceptionally warm welcome from the staff that touches us the most. Indeed, it's with great kindness that everyone is attentive to our well-being at every moment of our stay. Always simple and attentive. It's a kindness that's all the more touching because it's absolutely sincere. The team goes out of its way to make you feel as good as possible. So don't get it wrong, the services offered are top-notch and this island is a paradise. But above all, it's the quality of the hospitality and the people that keep us coming back. Our fourth visit in as many years was a fleeting one; with the help of the Moofushi team we were able to escape a far less desirable island and spend a weekend in our favourite place on the planet! I think it’s a constant fear of everyone who is ‘in the know’ about Moofushi that somehow it might change or lose its perfection. Safe to say it hasn’t, everything is amazing as ever, with subtle incremental improvements to everything happening in the background. What the Constance group and Moofushi specifically seem to understand (better than anyone else in the industry) is that travel is about people; the people who work so hard to deliver the experience for us, as travellers being as important and real as the travellers themselves. The staff here are a team through and through and take pleasure in what they do and the friendships that they make with us. Other places seem to think they need to be something different or to treat people differently on a holiday. The values of the people on Moofushi and their lack of pretension is a key part of our love of the place. Luthi, Madu, Hassan, Rittey, Adil, Manjoola, Sam, Daniel and everyone else, thank you so much. Don’t book anywhere else. That would be really stupid.

From being met at the airport, being checked in for the seaplane and then transported to the terminal was seamless. The seaplane flight was an experience you’ll never forget! Noisy but the views spectacular! The sight of Moofushi and the staff waving at the jetty as we landed was so lovely. Angella welcomed us and checked us in so efficiently with our flips flops already for us to wear. Our beach villa was ready on our arrival. The villa was so spacious, clean, well appointed, great outdoor shower and decking and so conveniently situated. Nazeeh looked after our villa beautifully. We celebrated both our birthdays whilst we were there, and Nazeeh decorated the bedding with petals and palm leaves with birthday wishes! The food in both the buffet restaurant and Alizee was exceptional. We loved the Totem Bar at lunchtime. Nothing was a problem. The drink and wine list was extensive with all branded names. All the staff were knowledgeable in their fields. So friendly and respectful. Shoutout to Ranjith. I either scuba dived and snorkelled daily, so much to see and admire. The sea was crystal clear and so warm. I’ve reviewed the Blue Tribe dive school separately. We had a fabulous time, stayed 11 nights and wished it was longer. We would certainly holiday with the Constance Hotel Group again soon.

If you're looking for a resort where you have no contact with other human beings and just want to be alone, run away, because this resort is not for you! This was our third visit, and we cannot think of anywhere in the world we would rather be than the Constance Moofushi. The food, service, people and place are all absolutely outstanding. The attention to detail from ALL members of the team was amazing and they are all so friendly and cannot do enough for you. We were welcomed to the Island by Yanni, who was an absolute delight and made sure to catch up with us throughout our stay to make sure we were happy with everything. Fantastic snorkelling within a few yards of the beach and the laid back, no shoes, atmosphere is second to none. There is a vibe which just called for relaxation. We always had our meals in the buffet restaurant and were really impressed with the food and didn't even try the a la carte restaurant, just because we liked the buffet so much. Just so much to choose from for breakfast, lunch and evening meal!! A special shout out to Yogi on the service stations. He always went out of his way to make sure everything was first class and his food was always amazing. He even gave us the recipe for his delicious Red Thai Curry!!!! The whole Team in the restaurant and bar are brilliant but we really enjoyed the company of Sinaz, who had a wonderful sense of humour and always remembered what we liked to order. I went for a Spa. It is the most incredible massage ever!! Special shout out to Debora who was absolutely amazing and I'll definitely be back for another Signature Massage. Amazing!!!!! The Totem Bar was a real highlight for us. The views from here are stunning and the service and drinks again first class. We stayed in a senior water villa which we absolutely loved, and a big thank you to Imaz for keeping the room absolutely spotless and going out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. It was really special to come back to our room at night and he had put a "happy birthday" message on our bed and left another message to say "goodbye". A massive thank you to each and every one of the team who made our stay so memorable. You are all amazing. We will definitely be returning… nowhere else compares to this amazing place, and I would recommend Constance Moofushi to anyone, and I’m sure if you visit, you will be returning many times like us!
