We stayed in Priests Suite for two nights and also experienced the Long Lunch. Priests Suite is one large, comfortable room with a separate bathroom. It shares a doorway with Pulsford Suite so your neighbours are very close but it was not a problem at all for us. The included provisions were very generous and beyond the breakfast things also included cheese and crackers and shortbread biscuits. We knew the room included a kitchenette so we were not expecting a stove/oven. Apart from the convection microwave the only cooking appliances are a large electric frypan, kettle and toaster, so prepare accordingly if you want to cook anything other than breakfast. The Magpie and Stump Hotel, at the end of the street, does dinner. If you need to shop, or even buy a newspaper, you need to drive to one of the nearby towns. If you must have internet access you’ll need to rely on your own devices. Take books as we did and you’ll have a free digital detox. The Long Lunch at Reilly’s was lovely. Maybe needs its own review. We enjoyed it very much and can now make a decent risotto in an electric frypan!
