Very good service environment Good dinner and breakfast

It was a nice, clean inn. There were many different services available, and I regret not checking in sooner. The food was also very delicious.

The bath in the room was broken, so it was a little inconvenient, but other than that I was very satisfied. The food was very delicious.

This room is really neat

We stayed just one night. We were checked in by a friendly recptionist. There was a little bit of a language gap, but google translate filled in the missing bits :-) Our tattami room was lovely and came with its own outdoor hot bath, we also had access to the other hot bath areas. There was simple system in place if the room is unoccupied you turn the sign to occupied and lock the door, you can then use that bath privately for upto 30 mins. I dont belive this system, operates all year round as there also seemed to be a booking system, but this wasnt in use. There were 3 of these areas available - we used 2. water temp is different in each room. and one has no outdoor space. We opted to put out our own futon, although the hotel will do this for you if you are unsure. Dinner was served in a dining area, with some screens (insufficient) between each group of diners. There is a printed menu of what you will be served and courses are brought out as you eat. Some staff have better english than others but a little japanese and google translate and you will be fine. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and rolled back to our room stuffed. Breakfast was a similar experience with ample lovely food. The hotel offeres a free shgittle to the train station BUT if you want to get to the shinkansen station you need a taxi it was about 4000 Y (£20), but fortunately there was another couple to we could split it between us. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Visited again for the first time in four years. Although it's a weekday, there seem to be quite a lot of customers. The atmosphere hasn't changed, but it looks like some renovations are underway. Although it's a little expensive (3,000 yen per hour), go to the private bath. The changing room is very spacious, the bathtub is also very large, and the atmosphere is great, so I think it's worth more than the price.

There is coffee service (tea, cold water) in the lobby, and I used it three times while sitting on the comfortable sofa. The room was 8 tatami mats long and not very large, but it was comfortable. Two keys and two yukata. The bath is a haniwa bath and there is no open-air bath. The indoor bath didn't have a screen door, so there was almost no ventilation, so it was very hot and humid during this hot season. On the way, I cooled off at the changing room where the air conditioner was roaring. Other customers were also shouting. I thought it would be a good idea to use a screen door or a ventilation fan to let the air pass through in the summer. Kawasemi-no-Yu the next morning was nice because it had an open-air bath. Dinner was a large venue meal. This time it wasn't Robatayaki, so I was able to eat slowly. The sashimi is made with Kawafugu (catfish), Sakuratai, and Ginko (a high-quality rainbow trout that can only be tasted in Gunma).The kamameshi is made with sweetfish, and the sukiyaki on the stand is unique in that it contains local chicken, pork, and beef. And it was delicious. Although I usually skip rice, I finished it all, and it was amazing that even though there were so many items, the portions were just right for my stomach. Also, the cold local sake (300cc, around 1200 yen) was delicious and perfect with the food. We also had breakfast at the same venue, which was very satisfying. The staff at the restaurant also have very good customer service.

All the employees were kind. On the way back, on the shuttle bus, I was able to have some chicken meat cut down at a chicken shop, which was very helpful. It was convenient because it was close to the bus stop for the express bus going there.
