Hotel la Madonnina

We had such a great stay at Hotel La Madonnina. The location of the hotel was perfect, so very close to the duomo. The room was wonderful and so clean. The breakfast was delicious and the staff so kind and helpful.

If like me, you like to walk to the see the sights, then you cannot go wrong with this hotel. The Duomo is only minutes away as is the metro. If you are looking for all the mod cons of a luxury hotel, then this hotel is not for you. However, if you are looking for a very clean hotel, with great staff and a more than ample breakfast offering, then this is the place. Yes, as commented by other reviewers, the trams pass in front of the hotel so could present issues to light sleepers. I was in room 202 - air con great! No problems with the wifi in the room and breakfast room, very good coffee. Room relatively quiet. And there is a lift 🙂 Cristiano provided great service and assistance during the snap taxi strike. To Cristiano and his Papa, grazie mille.

A hotel in the heart of Milan. 2 minutes away from Duomo and the metro. Breakfast is a small range but more than enough. Get a cappuccino and hit the road. 😍. Our room. Had a ballcony with a beautiful video. Also the tram stop was in front of the hotel. Just make sure you have internet to use Google maps to find hotel location 😍

If you want to stay in the beating heart of Milan, you couldn’t choose a better location than that of la Madonnina. Il Duomo is a stone’s throw away. Of course this means a lot of noise, so if you are a light sleeper, bring your ear plugs. Here are some pros and cons: + I had asked for a quiet twin room and I got it (at least it was relatively quiet) + breakfast was quite varied for an Italian one, containing omlette, cold cuts and, of course, sweet items +the room was rather spacious and clean, but… - the hotel, at least our room, needs maintenance -my biggest gripe was the inefficient air conditioning: it was old and huffed and puffed without cooling the room🥵 so sleep quality wasn’t the best

Loved this hotel! The location was perfect with the Duomo metro around the corner and tram stop right out front. The room was small, but typical of Europe. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive but what they had was delicious. Best part was having my coffee made by a barista instead of an automatic machine!

The hotel couldn't be better located, just around the corner from Duomo Square, the shops, the restaurants and transport of every kind. The tram stops right outside which is handy, they run very frequently from early to late at night. Security is really good, front door is locked but access is immediate when required. The lift is quick and readily available. The staff are all very polite, eager to please and delivered a proper hotel service that you might find in a 4 star establishment. Reception was super helpful, no waiting, attentive and smartly dressed. They also speak several languages which is incredible and they must be commended for this. The rooms were spotless, bed linen and towels were fresh and very white. The bed was firm (which is my preference), the pillows were full and clean, extra pillows and blankets there if you need them. Lighting was good, mirrors where you need them, no mould in the shower room, toiletries supplied. Phone in the room if needed, TV as well. I stayed in a 'small double' room. It was a real double, spacious and airy with windows that open for fresh air. I didn't have to ask for a thing, it was all there, they provided everything beforehand. Breakfast was really nice with fresh, quality food. Plenty of it too, unlimited quality drinks, clean plates and cutlery, attentive service. My stay was brief but memorable, enhanced by this exceptional hotel. I definitely recommend that you give this hotel your custom, you will not be disappointed. Bear in mind this hotel is an old, beautiful, true Italian building, no plush interiors, in the centre of a busy area. If you want a quiet room without atmosphere with decadent interiors, book yourself an overpriced country retreat. The staff all deserve a courteous exchange as they give their very best which is not always given in sone hotels, in my opinion. Enjoy this jewel in a truly amazing city!

Wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Milan square! Located just steps away from Milan Duomo! Our room had a great balcony which added to its charm! The bathroom had a large shower however the water does not drain quickly enough for the new shower head so the shower does flood the bathroom if your not careful! The only disappointment was our early departure and we were not able to have a coffee because breakfast was not until 7:30, we left at 7:10. Would highly recommend!

Hotel in posizione a dir poco strategica. Camera singola con spazi comodi e ben pulita. Personale gentile e cordiale. Normali servizi da Hotel 3 stelle. Da migliorare: l'isolamento acustico tra le camere. Il prezzo è medio alto, giustificato solo dalla posizione.

Sono stata in vacanza pochi giorni a fine agosto con nonni e figlie piccole, siamo stati molto bene accolti e decisamente coccolati. Cibo buono e abbondante,rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo ,poco distante dal mare e parcheggio interno gratuito, torneremo certamente la prossima estate!
