******* VIP / Gold membership means NOTHING at this hotel. They will only "take your name" with the false promise of contacting you if an upgrade is available.
We checked several times in a 5 day stay and were met with staff that did not want to help us or acknowledge any VIP benefit. NB The hotel had rooms available as we checked on their own website, but they denied this. We gave up by day beginning of day 3.
Make sure you read the fine print about parking. There is NO onsite available so you have to use the parking garage across the street yourself...which is either $47 USD per day or you get the hotel to park it via Valet...then it's the same price but you'll have to tip.
Only VIP "perk" and I say that with " " because you get $49 parking credit for ONE DAY but you have to use the Valet service. This is in contradiction to what ******* says. Read Ts &C's clearly, it is for one day, not everyday.
Staff provided a very average service on the desk. They lacked any Radisson level of joy, smiles or welcoming. They have a "no bullies" sign sitting on the counter, which to us seemed to emphasize that maybe guests have been very frustrated with their service level or lack there of.
The pool is in desperate need of daily cleaning, not weekly which we noticed -- we saw the same dirty band aid floating for 3 days. Yuck!
The two gentlemen running the breakfast shifts were excellent. Smiley, happy and attentive. They deserve a raise!
