The room is clean and very spacious. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offer a panoramic view of the city. Not to mention the location, wherever you want to take a walk or take the bus, you can just go downstairs. Surrounded by Chinatown, you can eat whatever you want, and it's just a stone's throw away from the number one coffee shop and bakery. Awesome 👍

Convenient transportation, large rooms, especially large bathrooms. I recommend staying at Westin for families. I stayed at Grand Hyatt and Westin this time. I highly recommend Westin. The two hotels are not on the same level. Although the facilities of Westin are old, it is still a top American hotel. The balcony is beautiful and the view is right when you open the door. The lobby waiter is Japanese and very considerate.

Excellent location and horrible motel. The carpet is very dirty and it is super smelly. I didn't want to open my luggage in order my clothes don't smell too. The bed is very small (I am 1,65m and my feet were out). It is too soft and unbalaced, it was folling to the left. The fridge is so noisy I had to turn it off. The bath was quite clean. The windows were so dirty and the aircond made noises all the night althought it was switched off.
I had several skin rushes on my leg this morning when I woke up although I didn't see any bugs.
I would not stay one more night neither for free.

1. The details of the room are very stylish. 2. There is a large bed and a sofa bed, as well as a Rubik's Cube for children to play with. This detail is worthy of praise. Suitable for families and parent-child travel. 3. There is a washing machine and complete tableware, but there is no stove. It is no problem to heat bread and milk in the microwave. 4. Big advantage: You can check out at 11 o'clock, and you can also apply for a later check-out under special circumstances! Other hotels have check-out at 10 o'clock! 5. The buffet is also good (Western style bread and snacks). 6. The location is good, very close to Chinatown, and the nearby attractions in the city center are within walking distance. The aquarium, train station, Federation Square, museums... are all nearby! Two words, convenient!
Disadvantages: 1. Self-service check-in. Due to the delay of the flight, it was already past 11pm when I arrived at the hotel. The front and back doors of the hotel were closed. I called and said that an email had sent me the password, but the agency that booked the room did not forward it to me. , it took half an hour before a staff member came downstairs to help me get the key. 2. The water in the sink is not flowing smoothly, and the water is blocked even when I brush my teeth and wash my face. It is probably an old problem that cannot be solved. I was too lazy to bother with it in the middle of the night, so I just used the sink in the hall.

I really love this hotel. The best budget hotel in Melbourne. Location is just super convenient really close to the Tram station and within walking distance to main attractions such as chinatown, melbourne central and many more. If you like coffee or bars, degrave street just right beside this hotel and you can hangout with friends. My room was clean and specious, eventough beside the elevator but not noisy. I love it so much. For muslim traveller do not worry, there is a halal indonesian restaurant downstairs and quite cheap AUD 16 for the meal that i had posted in the photo. This restaurant is called Blok M. In fact, there are many halal restaurant nearby this hotel and within walking distances.

Great hostel, lots of activities and social group outings. Located very close to the Markets and Melbourne CBD with the free Tram zone so easy to get around with plenty to do.
I had a larger room but my friends had really small rooms that would be the only negative.
Great roof top space for evening views and socialising with hot tub.
The best hostel kitchen I've stayed in and have travelled the east coast and Western Australia. So many stations, great number of quality equipment and lots of space for food although fridges are always full np matter where you go.
Really happy with this stay.

The hotel is on the south bank of the Yarra River. Overall, the location is not as convenient as in the CBD area, but fortunately it is relatively quiet. The inconvenience is that you need to take a car to go to the CBD every day. The Melbourne city tram from Zone 1 to Zone 2 costs 5 Australian dollars if you cross the area. If you go shopping in the CBD and come back in the afternoon, it will cost 10 Australian dollars a day. There are still some transportation costs. Fortunately, the hotel is right on the main road. There are many trams that can go to the CBD area, which is very convenient. The facilities are relatively new and the front desk service is quite friendly.

Outstanding
GGuest UserThis is a very nice resort. The interior is very clean and large. Bed is comfortable and toilet is good with jacuzzi. You will see kangaroos and cockatoos outside the cottage in the morning and evening. My kids enjoy the stay very much. However you need to either cook your own meals or drive out to eat. The drive is about 15 mins.
SSAM CHEONGLocation is very good. Just 5 minutes walk from Melbourne Southern Cross Train Station. Where it's connected with the airport by Skybus in 30 minutes, connected with Sydney by train in 10 hours. Free tram line is nearby.
Recommended.
CCarvWe booked this new hotel out of curiosity and trust of large brand, but quite disappointed
The hotel located at an area outside t4, next to the big parking building/bus terminal, but there are no/minimum signage/directions leading to the hotel, while only one arrow at the bus terminal pointing at the big building with the large novotel logo, making everyone thinks that we can access the hotel through the well lighted bus terminal with ease, but sadly there is no crossing facilities between the terminal and hotel, you will need to lift your luggages, jaywalking through two car lane and climbing up the lane islands if you dont want to walk back 200m for the unnoticeable correct route; in fact the only route leading to the hotel from the airport is the side walk OPPOSITE to the big arrow with poor lightings and no signage at all. As a tourist with heavy luggage, thanks for offering the chance to weight lifting. When we arrived and reflect the problem, concierge said they also received similar complains. So nothing has been done to correct the nonsense and good luck to all the up coming visitors.
The room is decent to be honest and with a clear view facing the car park building we mentioned earlier, no much to see yet no problem for us too. Bed is soft and comfortable allowing us to have some good rest. However, theres an empty black bottle in the rubbish bin i believed to be the leftover from the last guest, hope the housekeeper can have a closer look in the future.
Some facilities have great designs that i would like to greet the designer/procurement and admire their mastermind for installing those equipment and challenge the wisdom of humankind. For instance: the anti-intuitive shower switch for change to top shower or handheld shower head, it is semi cylinder disguised as part of wall mount of the top shower, which is about 1.9m - 2m from the ground, for those who cant find the switch and not tall enough will have to stick with what was preset. Second, the hot water dispenser at the breakfast bar, you can simply press the two buttons on top and nothing would happen, turns out there is an extra sensor you need to block with your thumb and use another finger to press the buttons on top, this can encourage guests to give up on the hot water if no one is around to ask.
The breakfast is the most disappointing part, frankly all quality are high standard but the choices are few and basic, simply bacons/ eggs/ veges/ salad/ hams (well the mushrooms are very impressive though), there is also a honey hive (with a rectangular frame) but mostly empty at the middle (at the time of 7am) where the side are hard to spoon out, ppl try very hard but the loose stands make it even harder to spoon out, the frame eventually collapse and guest gave up to take the hive. No staff notice/try to fix the collapsed honey hive/ change to a new one during my whole breakfast ( around half an hour) and remain the same when we left. The pancakes supposed to be eat with the honey are dry and inedible imo too.
The price for the hotel is not cheap comparing to the nearing but the standard does not meet up with the price, facilities are new and thats the only advantage on the table.
PS: the hotel offer free shuttle to the terminals too, try to mention and book for your shuttle as there are only 3-4 seats if everyone have large luggages, otherwise the concierge will be surprised you did not ask for this hidden service with no mentioning during check in and no timetable ever provided when you check with them in the morning.
FFlynn GVery nice lil place! Friendly reception staff, clean bathroom and amenities provided were in good nick.
Location is on the bottom left edge of the central business district, in the free transit zone which was mighty helpful for my travels. Very breif walk, about 4 minutes to Southern Cross :)

AAnonymous UserThis hotel has the worst service of any Hyatt I have ever stayed at. The overall staff was absent-minded, and no one ever answered the front desk phone or room service. Several times we had to run downstairs to communicate with the front desk. There are no bathrobes in the hotel, which is the first time I have encountered this.
BBee LoongPrepaid S$575.33 for booking a room for 2nights from May 22-24. Front desk charged to my credit card again upon checkout for A$586.16 (S$543.59). He didnt realise the double charge until I brought to his attention. He apologised and reversed the charge, & assured me there wont be a credit card admin fee charged. However, when I received my credit card statement, it shows I was charged S$39.04 being FX & bank fee for the mistake the front desk staff made. I’ve been following up with Sheraton MEL since July 10 on this matter but no news after July 26 when I gave the bank information as requested by Mr Kajal Gaurav to process the refund.
Till today Aug 21, I have yet to receive the refund. I have emailed several times to Sheraton but no one is replying. I am still waiting to hear from anyone copied in the email correspondence to provide an explanation and if I will still be receiving $39.04.
Meanwhile, I’d still like to thank David, the housekeeping staff, who was extremely helpful during my stay.
GGuest UserWe booked and paid for a deluxe written room which looked really move in the pics on the website. The room we ended up with was a family room which was nothing like the pics and when I tried to talk to one of the staff about this he acted like he didn't understand what the issue was and asked if we wanted him to take some of the beds out of the room. Pretty disgusted. Also the bed was like sleeping on a slab of cement
GGuest UserThe live situation of the accommodation is reasonable in Melbourne for such a price. The service at the front desk of the hotel is very good. The towel will be thoughtfully windy.
