Mercure Melbourne Therry Street

Great place.. Strategic location, near QV market n  malls, super easy to get food and easy access to tram to go anywhere in Melbourne..  Room is clean and cozy, staff are ok. Overall, Nice hotel to stay.. totally recommended!!

Clean room but the toilet cover seems broken. The staffs seem a bit impolite.

This hotel is situated in a fantastic location that makes exploring the area very easy. However, the building itself is quite old and gives off a slightly scary atmosphere. Despite the somewhat creepy vibe, the hotel staff provided genuinely excellent and friendly service throughout our stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room was incredibly large and spacious. It was extremely convenient to have a kitchen in the room, allowing us to easily cook our own meals. The bathroom facilities also exceeded our expectations during this trip. We absolutely loved the shower because the water pressure was very strong and perfectly warm. Unfortunately, we encountered a frustrating issue regarding the hotel's laundry room. The facility closes at 10 PM, but we were never informed about this operating schedule beforehand. Overall, if you can look past the aging building, the convenient amenities and great location make it a solid choice.

Overall, I had a really pleasant stay and honestly have very little to complain about. The location is convenient, the room is well equipped, and it was great value for my trip. Card access is required for certain floors, which can be slightly inconvenient, but it’s actually a good thing for security. The kitchenette comes with a microwave, kettle and stove, although I didn’t get to try the stove. Reception isn’t open before 8am. I arrived about 20 minutes early and waited in the small lobby, but the lovely receptionist let me check in early as a room was already available. Transport tip: From Melbourne Airport T4, take bus 478/479 and transfer to tram 59 to Queen Victoria Market (up to Flinders Street Station). The hotel is only a 2-minute walk away— a great way to save on airport transport! This works both way from and to the airport. Journey took like around 1hour ish. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to others and consider to stay here again if I wanna stay in a centrally located hotel.

The hotel is very strategically located, it’s very close to Queen Victoria Market and the tram station is just a stone throw away. However the hotel looks a bit old but generally still clean. The room comes with a kitchenette so you can buy some stuff from the market and cook yourself a meal. Room service didn’t make my room up, just replaced my bath towels.
