The hotel is too good Staff is too cooperative and calm . Resort have all the amenities. It’s clean and upto the mark. Food is pure veg and too good. Had a great time and fun.

Food was not good. Also Dining place was untidy. Owner is typical Marwari, not co-operative and only interested in earning money. Rooms are also unclean. Location is far away from main market area. Once you book Room in this Hotel than nobody takes care of your need. Suggested never go in this Hotel.

Nice place to visit with family & friends, at affordable rates and also good food....amenities are quite interesting. The place offers table tennis, chess and other games and the poolside is the best. The food is very delicious and has that proper indian taste.

They kept some touts in the Neral Rly Stn and nearby place (Example Sarfaros). We were two. For 22 hours they took Rs.5500/-. Total loss. We walked around Matheran and realized that Sun n Shade is the worst in Matheran. They will show you good picture of rooms having corridor. They will say, all are packed. Go to extension. The AC will not work. The mechanic will come and fail. No hanger in room. The swimming pool size is nano. They want to make max money with low inves**ent. Food is horribly bad and insufficient. Every item finishes early and never comes again. Say, at the evening a magician comes. That is not free. Because after the show the magician will beg. Morning tea, evening snax are hoax. They will distaste your tongue and day. Staff are all casual. Only Anuj is bit trained. There are ***y options and alternates in Matheran. Do not fall their prey. Even at the time of maximum rush, pls go for spot booking and choose your room.

Worst Worst Worst experience ever, unprofessional and untrained staff. Didn't even bother to provide basic amenities like soap, towel, water. Will never recommended anyone. Book this hotel at your own risk.

The stay was not at all good. Fake promises are made to loot the customers.The list is as under: 1. First they say that we get scenic view of the valley but after going there we are unable to get any proper view. 2. The swimming pool is not hygienic 3. The premises is very dirty and unclean. 4. The rooms are not properly clean.Smell comes out of the pillow 5. The chairs and tables kept in the veran*** is also very dirty 6. Spitting is also observed in ***y places 7. Food is not good and the paneer that they use i think is kept for ***y days. 8. No reception phone available for urgent service. 9. The staff is very uncooperative 10. There was no TV in the roon - Fake promise was made to me 11. There was no Wifi in the room (Fake promise) 12. There is no safeguard for the monkeys. The monkeys come to the room also and take away food items . Also they disturb very much by jumping in the roof. So dear friends think again before you book this hotel....

My experience is good . Service given from the resort staff was also good ,they are coordinate with us ,swimming pool & restaurant are also good and food quality was also excellent .There are indoor and out games to play such as badminton, carrom etc. The view from the balcony was excellent ,room service are excellent .
