Perlekech Riad & Spa

Owners Cristiana and Pedro and all the Riad staff are so friendly and can organise any part of your trip you request it seems. We booked walking tour, hot air balloon trip, airport transfers through them and all were great value for money. Staff are so helpful and advise on recommended places to visit/directions/ help in getting taxis ( they actually came out onto the street to find one for us a couple of times!). The Riad is a beautiful peaceful haven to come back to after a busy bustling day sightseeing. The spa on site was amazing ( they advise to book a day or two in advance where possible), but would highly recommend it. Breakfast was an amazing concoction of eggs , breads, yoghurts, fruits, fresh orange juice and tea/coffee - a real feast to start the day. The rooftop terrace was lovely to sit and relax in with seats, beds, tables and chairs. Downstairs also there were little nooks and areas to sit in. Beautiful decorated and a real sense of calm and tranquility as soon as you enter through the Riad door. We could walk from the Riad to the YSL gardens, sooks, handily located for sightseeing.

Very nice people, attentive service, traditional atmosphere with enormous charm, clean rooms, easy walking distance to markets, museums, places of interest. Is a small hotel off a busy local street. Christina the owner is available all day and English speaking loyal staff are very helpful. It's inexpensive and good value. Hotel helps with taxis which are in the main street. Rooftop terrace with a small pool and spa. Breakfast is good, traditional on either ground floor or on the terrace. If you want lunch best to advise them the day before, but do accept their suggestions for local restaurants (most within 2-3 min walk). Serves alcohol.

The Riad is very new , clean and beautifully decorated ! owner is so kind and welcoming , makes you feel like home. Location is great , close to everywhere and in the nice clean neighborhood, breakfast on the Terrance is so enjoyable, wish we could stay more time there.

Really nice Road perfectly located with clean and nicely appointed rooms Roof top terrace with plunge pool which is perfect after a hot duty day exploring Marrakech. Great WiFi and really friendly staff especially the managing couple who couldn’t be more welcoming

Fabulous stay in a traditional style riad. The owners and staff were exceptionally helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Room was spacious and facilities were of a high standard Brilliant breakfast on the roof terrace We cannot fault this stay at all

My family and I have just returned from a four night trip to Marrakech, and had a wonderful time staying at Perlekech. The Riad itself is beautifully decorated and, even though traditionally designed, looks and feels brand new. We stayed in one of the larger suites, which was spacious and comfortable. The team there were all fantastic and took great care of us. We really appreciated the extra attention they gave to my 11 and 6 year old daughters. They were always on hand for advice on where to go, and often used to walk us out to the main street to ensure we knew which way to go. Breakfast was varied and the set menu contained everything including tea, coffee, juices, yoghurts, fresh fruit, local breads, multiple spreads and cooked eggs. The roof top terrace was also a great place to relax after a day of sight-seeing and before heading out for dinner. The owners arranged all of our trips for us in advance of our arrival. We did the Marrakech tour, a day in the Ourika valley and a day at the Agafay Desert- all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The drivers and guides were friendly and informative. We really couldn't have asked for any more. The experience of staying here was probably the highlight of our trip.

Where to start. Cristiana and Pedro are wonderful and their Riad is truly beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble. Organising airport transfer, trips, restaurant recommendations, lovely conversation and they clearly have a passion and love for Marrakesh that they want others to share. The tour guides were amazing. The Riad a peaceful retreat in a bustling vibrant, sometime overwhelming city and it was always a joy to return to the tranquility. That said, it’s located so centrally everything is accessible and it’s amazing how it’s so calm when it’s located right in the middle of the city. Staff are on hand 24/7 managing access to the Riad and organising drinks (always accompanied with olives and nut/seed snack) when needed. Breakfast was an event! Set menu but everything you need and want. Fresh juice, variations on an egg each day, bread basket, coffee, tea, fruit, yoghurt, sweet treats …I travelled with my mum who loves breakfast, normally I do not but this was so nice and set you up for the day I honestly miss it now we’re home! The staff set the table like the Ritz and service was superb. The Riad is extremely clean and the staff are wonderful. The Arabian night organised by Cristina and Pedro is not to be missed. I travel a lot with work and have stayed in very nice hotels; the bed, bedding, shower and toiletries were truly excellent, one of the best nights sleep in a “hotel” I’ve had. There is a lovely rooftop sunbathing area which looked to have a cocktail bar in peak season, but not sure as was being renovated when we were there. There’s a hammam and spa which is small but well appointed. Really can’t fault this place, feels like we’ve made friends here and it’s an experience not to be missed. Didn’t once have an upset stomach, the trips we went on organised by Cristina included restaurants and some snacks during the trips and it was all great. My mum and I don’t often return to places but this is one we’d seriously consider. Don’t hesitate to book.

Had an amazing time at PerleKech Riad & Spa! Stayed in one of their suites, and it felt like a little slice of luxury in Marrakech. The suite was spacious, comfy, and had this lovely Moroccan vibe. The rooftop breakfast was a highlight - tasty food with a view! The staff was very welcoming, the owners are really kind and made me feel at home. If you're looking for a nice place to stay in Marrakech, I'd definitely recommend PerleKech.

We stayed at the Perlekech Riad and Spa for a week over New Year 2023/24 and we had a fabulous time. We were in the Alib Baba suite which is a lovely spacious room, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable and there is a large walk in shower in the bathroom. The breakfasts were delicious too with a variety of different breads each day as well as eggs, ham and cheese. The Riad is in a great location – about 10 minutes’ walk from Jemaa El Fna Square. All the main sites were in walking distance. There are some good restaurants close by, in particular M Bacha and Terrasses Des Arts. The owners and staff were all lovely and nothing was too much trouble. We went to their New Year’s Eve Party. The food and entertainment were superb and the owners and staff all took part. It felt like a very personal stay and we were very sad to leave. I highly recommend the Perlekech Riad and Spa.
