This property on a quiet street in Mariposa is very comfortable and the hosts are very accommodating and attention is paid to the small details. We were there three nights and the breakfasts were wonderful every morning. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We weren't sure about this place when we first arrived, but Elaine made us so welcome and was so helpful that any doubts we had about staying here were completely overcome. The breakfasts are amazing and the snacks that Elaine makes for you to take into Yosemite were absolutely delicious and very welcome. She is a very kind and compassionate person and we really enjoyed chatting with her at breakfast. The BandB is walking distance to town for most people, but it's down a steep hill which might be a bit of a challenge for anyone with health or mobility issues.

The suite is very confortable and cleaned, there is everthing you may need. Helen is very kind and her breakfast is marvellous, we keep thinking of it when we return home. Also she is happy to give you tips for your viist at Yosemite Park from a resident, which is very helpful. The supermarket and restaurants of the little city of Mariposa are near.

We stayed here for 3 nights in May 2022 as a base to explore Yosemite. Helene and Ron are fantastic hosts and were very helpful in giving tips for visiting the park itself and also recommended some local museums and a short hike from the B&B itself. We were travelling with our 6 month baby and they couldn't have been more accommodating - they had a crib available and even found some toys for him to play with and provided some food he could eat at breakfast. Breakfast was exceptional consisting of both sweet and savoury homemade treats. Several restaurants to choose from in town which is a short walk downhill. Each room has a small patio and parking and it was beautiful to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening under a star-filled sky. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Yosemite area.

We had an outstanding 3 night stay at Yosemite Plaisance in May 2022. Helene and Ron could not have been any kinder, the room was clean and quiet, and the location was perfect for us! The downtown area was a short walk to all the amenities we needed. There were plenty of open restaurants but try to make reservations as it seems like everyone comes back hungry from their day trips at the same time! We would stay here again even if was just to enjoy Helene's fabulous breakfasts and the lovely to-go treats for the day. You could just spend the day relaxing and exploring the local area. We highly recommend everything Yosemite Plaisance Bed & Breakfast had to offer!

Fantastic 2 night stay. Lovely food, especially the home baked shortbread & brownies. Helene & Ron made us feel so welcome in their home. Perfect stay in Mariposa. Visit to the park is not to be missed.

We stayed 3 nights and explored Yosemite 2 days, hosts are helpful and friendly and breakfast was so nice on the patio! Great ambiance, very quiet and a short walk to town. Nice clean linens, would definitely recommend staying here! 🦋

Helene and Ron were wonderful hosts. The breakfasts both days were outstanding. Helene sent us with homemade treats for our walks thru Yosemite. They are located just a short walk to the cute town. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

The hosts (Ron and Elaine) were the best. They were very nice and extremely accommodating. Our breakfasts were amazing. Elaine would send us away with delicious treats for the afternoon. She would ask about our plans and offer suggestions of what to do and see at our destination. This is a definite must stay if we ever get back to Mariposa. Thank you Ron and Elaine!!!
