The room was in an alley in the back of the motel. Rv's were illegally parked and being rented. When we checked the room it was smelling of mold, dogs, and smoking. We asked to get a refund at which the owner started swearing and calling names. He wouldn't give a refund so we went another hotel. I kept the key since I'm paying for the room. The motel charged me $50.00 for a new key. We were still paying for the room. I left the key with the office clerk. They still haven't returned the $50. This should be shut down for business practices alone.

Odd check-in procedure, office hours seem to be limited and random. But it was a nice stay, the staff, when I saw them, were friendly. Room was fine, a bit expensive for a small room and tiny bathroom, but everything in the Keys is expensive!

We paid three times more than it would cost for a similar low-quality motel in New England. Florida Keys markup, I know.
The place was not cleaned thoroughly (a lot of hair on the bathroom floor).
The worst part: the suffocating disinfectant (probably Lisol) stunk. Toxic-? The window could not be opened because of the AC unit.

Quite rundown, shower had lots of mildew, small corner room (much smaller than the pictures showed). No place to put luggage. The bed had a horrible sag in the middle. Yes, it rolled me closer to my spouse, but it wasn't nice to sleep on. All in all, , not a good stay. I don't recommend this motel.

This is an old motel that was in great shape. Friendly service, clean rooms and affordable. No frills. No pool, no breakfast only 7 rooms. Great if you just need a place to shower and sleep while checking out all the area has to offer!

This property has no pool, tiki bar, or restaurant. It is a flop house advertised to stay. ******* is working to make this right. We had the reservation for over a month. Someone should be monitoring these properties.

Very clean. Easy to book, check in, and check out. The proximity to the highway provides for some road noise during peak traffic hours, other than that it’s quiet. The walls are thin, so turn up the A/C so you don’t hear your neighbors.
