Beck Hall

Beck Hall was such a glorious place to stay. Food was truly stunning, possibly the best vegan food I’ve had. We stayed in room 11 which was small but perfect for us. Location is just perfect, being in the middle of various walks. Mallham cove walk is 5 mins if you turn right out of beck hall.

Such a lovely place! 10/10 for the food, the service and overall experience. Highly recommended! We went for the dinner, bed & breakfast option. Seriously, the food is absolutely next level. Our room was small & cosy, totally immaculate. Book a stay here immediately

Wonderful setting. Fabulous room. And the fact it is plant based made it more special. The food was great at evening meal and breakfast. Only stayed one night so didn't have lunch. Took our two bernese mountain dogs and overall haven't ever had a better hotel experience. Ever. I'll be back for sure

We visited Beck Hall for 2 nights after receiving a gift voucher for Christmas. It was easy to find and parking was plentiful. Check in was easy too and we were greeted warmly, especially our dog! Every staff member we met during our stay was excellent, really friendly and helpful. We chose a superior room as we brought our dog with us and wanted a bit more space. The room was absolutely lovely and was practical for the dog too. It was cosy, spacious and had all the amenities needed. The bathroom was beautiful as well, we had a bath and a separate shower which was spacious and the decor was very nice. The restaurant is exceptional. We had 2 x breakfasts (included which is brilliant) and 2 x evening meals. I am vegan, my partner is not but we both loved the food. The variety is great and would suit everyone whether they want a meat alternative or not. Having choices at breakfast was nice too rather than it just being a fry up like a lot of B&Bs! I still have things I would love to try and definitely would go back. The location is perfect for exploring Malham and the local sights. We didn't have to drive anywhere, choosing to go walking instead. There is plenty of places for the dog to explore and go to the toilet without having to wander far too. It's a lovely area. We had a brilliant time and I would recommend Beck Hall to everyone. We would love to go back!

The staff made the place. A lovely mix of people all trying (and succeeding) to make you feel relaxed and at home. David is brilliant, even after a long shift! Great atmosphere. Safe, warm, friendly. Everyone excellent with dogs. Great food. Looking forward to going back. Thank you

I've been wanting to come to Beck Hall for ages & it completely lived up to expectations. Linda who checked us in was fantastic - she was so friendly & chatty. The hotel has lots of interesting little quirky ornaments & the snug with the open fire was so cosy. Dinners over 2 nights were great & breakfast was delicious too. We would have liked a choice of granola too, but cooked breakfast & pancakes were fab. All the restaurant staff were lovely too & when we had a slight issue with our room Linda moved us to another room - she really did go that extra mile to ensure out stay was excellent & it was. We'll definitely be back.
