Hotel Seth Port Mahon

Room no in good condition, damaged floor and furniture,but good location and amazing see view. I think for £149 I good expect a better room

We stayed here for a week half board. The hotel is lovely with a nice entrance and lounge, the bedrooms are comfortable and everything has been decorated to a high spec. Also a nice walk to the town along the harbour. The Terazza restaurant looks over the port with amazing views and the food is excellent (even though not a fan of buffet) and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The pool area is nice but was not warm enough to try the pool yet! A special note to the hotel manager who was very kind and helpful . Gracias a todos x

Just had a wonderful weeks holiday via Jet2 at the lovely traditional Port Mahon Hotel which I first visited over 50 years ago. Prior to arriving I was offered an upgrade to a suite with balcony and sea view at modest cost which I gladly accepted. I enjoyed amazing views over the estuary, watching the big ships and colourful sunrises. Only negative was why the shower controller was 2 metres away from the shower head? Makes temperature control difficult & wastes water. The breakfast buffet was over 15M long offering everything you could wish for from fresh fruit, continental breakfast to full English. Service was swift. I did a lot of walking around Mahon and used the buses to visit Cuitadella, Fornells & Es Casteel, also the town train around Mahon and the glass bottomed boat for the harbour cruise. The Hotel is a great base for touring. I am planning to return again to Port Mahon Hotel next March when Jet2 start flying from Liverpool (more convenient). In summary, the Port Mahon Hotel exceeded my expectations and any thanks to Silvia on reception for helping with my arrangements. *** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED***

Deserves 5 stars for stunning position of hotel, buffet food, exceptional cleanliness and wonderful staff. Sadly the piano bar was not open (probably too early in season) and the dinner on the first night was abysmal as no buffet available.

Following my visit to the Port Mahon Hotel last October I returned again this month The efficient Silvia on Reception had already arranged an upgrade (worth the 30 euros/night) to a Junior Suite (Room 209) with a sea view from the private balcony. Sitting on the balcony watching the sailing boats and cruise ships cruising up the harbour provided a great sense of peace and tranquility. The breakfast buffet was over 15M long offering everything you could wish for from fresh fruit, continental breakfast to full English. Service was swift. I did a lot of walking around Mahon and used the cheap buses to visit Fornells, Es Castell, Cala Galdana, Binibeca, S'Algar and Punta Prima. I also took the 1 hour harbour cruise on the glass bottomed boat.. The Hotel provides a great base for touring, the L15 bus stops at the rear of the hotel, circuits the town centre and into Mahon bus station, the central hub from where you can travel anywhere on the island for 1-5 euros. *** Highly Recommended ***

Port Mahon is probably the best position in the city for everything,great pool ,easy walk in the city ,bus stop outside,Port 100m away , great veiws ,great place to chill or do whatever you want,Breakfast is very good ,daytime bar ,poolside bar an a relaxing evening bar

Will definitely return. From the moment we arrived, Richard on Reception set the tone for a first class stay. The hotel and room were immaculate having been recently refurbished. Our room had everything a traveller could want: big, comfy beds, soft, large fluffy towels, lovely, plentiful toiletries, a powerful hairdryer, robes on request, spare bedding if needed and comfy balcony furniture as well as tea-making facilities. The restaurant staff were extremely professional, friendly and efficient. Breakfasts were excellent with a huge variety to suit all tastes. A slight disappoin**ent was the evening buffet; an 8 o'clock start was too late for us and the choices on offer were limited. The terrace was a comfy place to enjoy breakfast or an afternoon drink in the sunshine.

This was our first visit to the Seth port mahon to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed and will definitely return It is a great hotel in a prime position.if you want a quiet relaxing holiday then this is the place to visit Excellent staff excellent food and plenty of choice .Had a lovely suite with superb views more storage space would be very welcome but all in all 5/5 would highly recommend
