wow where do I start. This holiday by far must have been the absolute worst hotel I have stayed in. 4* is an absolute joke. The Jet2 reps in the hotel were inundated with complaints. My room The door did not close properly, and 2 complaints later this was looked at however I still needed to pack the door with towels wash night and was too small for the frame and the light that shone through was horrific. There was no bedding for the beds just bottom sheets The noise from the hotel bar (the only bar on an evening for all guests) into our room was unbearable (which was worse because of the door not being shut tight!) Twice I needed to request towels as room clean as was not completed and no new towels were in room.(there’s not any fans etc in bathroom so everything was sodding) My fridge in the room was so dirty and left My TV did not work. The Food & drink (When there was any!) I’ve spent £800+ eating tea out as a family in an All-Inclusive hotel as the buffet selection was horrific. We stayed begrudgingly for breakfast and dinner as could not afford anymore eating out and this is more issues detailed below The Popular food ran out daily (after say 1 hour of opening) and was told several times no more pasta, no more crepes and chicken etc. The kids really struggled. Even 1 full day there was no ice cream. Very few staff to approach in restaurants About 20% of the items of food were labelled as to what they are… this is a safety issue with people with allergies unless obvious you had to guess I was not allowed a coffee cup, or a wine glass as was not in ‘magnus’ I mean having a dirty plastic tumbler for a coffee and wine is not what u want when the actually had plastic tumblers Often the coffee machines were out of order. Drinks during the day at bars were mostly help self which is fine but often no plastic cups left do no drinks The food was repetitive the same every single day for breakfast and lunch… as I said before tried tea the first night and my god disgusting and hardly anything to choose Waterpark Miss sold age limit on Jet 2 as 1.2 metres for slides and was told for 50% of the holiday my kids could not go on slides as needed to be 18 years old…. only for halfway through this changed. Out of pocket again as booked the waterpark in Magaluf to compensate this let down for my kids. The Jet 2 reps were so busy onsite with complaints we were told head office that they were reviewing the hotel closely due to complaint levels? The hotel is like a hostel I’ve never experienced anything like it (4*) I’ve never stayed in a 2 star and can possibly imagine it being like this

After booking this with 3 weeks to go, and reading the awful reviews and also someone we know who came back ill from this hotel and told us how bad the hotel was, jet 2 were contacted and gave us a full refund. Although at first they refused. Safe to say we booked somewhere else

We’re do I start…we booked this hotel on the basis the hotel was having a full refurbishment for 2024 it looked lovely and thought it would be great for kids. Arrived at the hotel it looked ok not the best but was ok we checked in and was told to leave luggage and use the changing area down the block we got down and only the males was open so we used that. We went to the reception toilets which is the toilets for reception/bar/pool they were absolutely filthy I also have photos. We went along for some food and what I can only describe it as a cattle market or a zoo the buffet area was tiny unorganised and no food labels, travelling with my mam who’s gluten free was a issue. Now the amount of chicken nuggets available was mind blowing they even included them in the salad bar. You couldn’t put together a descent meal It was awful and smelt a worker hit my 3 year old in the head with a red hot tray and just continued on. We went back to the hotel complained to jet2 and point blank refused to stay there we were told to check in our rooms now and await there call to move on our way to the block (cell block) which you get no help on were your going it’s not clear it’s pot luck if you find it we went in and started walking down the corridor there was a work man there with no warning signs etc working on Eletric and my 3 year old daughter ran exited up the corridor and the work man started shouting live wire live wire but it was to late she was already within inches of the life wire and had she been a little bit taller I dread to think what could of happened to her. We have a photograph as evidence which I will upload once Jet2 resolve my complaints This hotel should not have opened as it’s not ready and the description is no we’re near close it’s had a lick of paint at the most If you like butlins you’ll love this place it’s like butlins on steroids! If you like a decent standard 4star hotel my advise would be to avoid this place at all cost If I could give 0 star I would

Hotel is advertised as a newly refurbished hotel. It isn’t. Food was not good at all which is very disappointing especially as we had paid for all inclusive package. We ended up eating out every night because of this. A lot of the lunch time food also seemed to be reheated for dinner. Pools were good for children although the water was freezing. Rooms wernt great- nowhere to hang anything in the bathroom. Also no bottled water in the room which you would usually expect. No kettle or iron either. Couldn’t check in the the room until 3.30pm which is annoying as we had paid extra to Jet2 for an early Morning flight. For the amount of money paid we will definitely not be returning.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY OR VEGAN/ VEGETARIAN! Shockingly bad, get passed from pillar to post noone understands. I have been given fish and meat as vegan and cheese in salad - I have dairy allergy! I checked with jet 2 prior and 3 emails to hotel prior to coming say they could cater us. 5th night- haven't managed to get a lounger as all gone by 6.30! Bar manager won't give you magnus drinks without black wristband, even though they were only 1st week they're turquoise now. magnus pool is green, water so low filters can't work.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Jet2 have updated their website time and time again. It’s no longer had a full refurbishment just a refresh. Looks nothing like artist impression! Complete health and safety hazard. Not labelling food for allergies, no air con, electrical wires hanging out. I was due to travel in august but had a full refund from Jet2 and booked elsewhere.

We booked this hotel quite last minute for May half term (still paid £4,400 so not cheap). We had a Magnus room/wristbands. Pros - Very central. Beach, shops, wider nightlife are all on the doorstep - Lots of the staff are lovely and helpful. - Lots of pools Cons - This hotel has not been refurbished to a high standard. It has had some paint slapped over the cracks and they have hoped for the best. - Rooms: —We had no main light in our room just some down lighters (some of which didn’t work). — The shower completely flooded the bathroom and had no storage/shelf. — There was no blackout curtains and the aircon temperature appeared to be locked/controlled by someone who wasn’t us. — We were told we’d have robes and slippers but didn’t. — We were supposed to get a PlayStation (turned up several days after we arrived) and had to ask about the key for the safe. We did have a kettle but no tea/coffee. - Food. We were able to use the Magnus restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The team clearly didn’t know how to use the oven as there was lots of things burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. One day this happened to be chicken. I flagged the chicken was uncooked and the server spoke to the chef. It wasn’t addressed though and several other families complained after us. Other food would sit warming - who wants to eat lukewarm sausages?! The main restaurant was like feeding time at the zoo. We went once but couldn’t face going back to the utter chaos. - Pools - these are great in size/depth but some days were filthy e.g. plasters and bottle tops on the bottom of the pool. We were there in half term too so unless we were up and reserving beds at 6am there was no loungers left. - Open times - breakfast does not open until 8am and the pool 10am. This was late for our family and our children were very antsy sat waiting. - Some staff liked to make you wait for service whilst they finished their private conversations. In summary, with some tweaks this place could be great. At the moment it feels like it’s trying to be a hotel for families but is doing the minimum (and what the 18-24 crowd might put up with).

On check in, the view from Reception was amazing and the kids were buzzing. We were told our room wasn't ready and to come back between 3.30 and 4.00pm. Not a great start when we had been up since 1.30am, but we headed to the outside bar and the kids hopped in the pool. We went to ask if the room was ready at 4pm, it wasn't. We finally got the key and a map at 4.30pm and headed off in the direction of the lifts circled by the Receptionist. We dragged the cases to the lift and went up. Only to find that the doors between the blocks were locked and there was no way through. Came back down and bumped into a member of staff who advised there used to be a lift for our block but it has been taken out, so had to treck to near the restaurant to use the lift and then back across to our block. When we got in the room, for them to call it a 'Suite' is not an accurate description at all. There were 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 kids, one 11, one 12 and one 14. The room was a one bed apartment with 2 beds in the living space and a pull out bed under one of them. There was some concrete shelves and an open small hanging rail. No where near enough room for them to all hang their clothes, so they ended up living out of their suitcases. The shower tray had mucky footprints in it and the sink had make up in it. We went to reception and advised - they spoke to each other and one said, 'we only have one cleaner'. You could tell the other receptionist was then saying, don't say that. They apologised and offered a deep clean the following day. I couldn't say if that happened or not as we had by then used the shower and sink ourselves and effectively cleaned them both. The bathroom has no where for you to store any wash bags or products, also there is no vent in there, so even during a fairly cool shower, the tiled walls are literally running with condensation and the floor is soaked. The kids also complained about a rattling on the first night in the bathroom. On investigation we found a lose pipe cover on a water pipe which we stuffed with tissue so it wouldn't rattle. Despite there been five of us, there was only 2 chairs on the balcony. With the children using the living area as a bedroom, there was no where we could chill as a family as there wasn't enough chairs. The food was the worst I have had at an all inclusive, usually, after a good walk round I can come back with a lovely meal. Not here, they regularly ran out of items such as pancakes, butter, ice cream etc - the kids regularly went to McDonalds for their tea and we went out for breakfast 3 times and evening meals 4 times as it was really that bad. The entertainment area is outside, with rows of seats, theatre style, laid out in rows. There are around 20 tables outside of the one bar, meaning if the tables are gone, and you just wanted to enjoy a drink, there was no where to put your drinks or have a game of cards for example. Not a 4 Star .... We arrived on 17th May ( day after opening ) Obvious hiccups, Room wasn't ready, pool & slide restrictions, workmen on the corridors from 7.30am. All staff were friendly, food was good, glasses of wine with dinner & tea, cups for tea & coffee, cans & snacks in the reception. Each day these have been taken away... No fridges with cans, no cups or glasses ( now all plastic ) No reception snacks, if you now miss dinner... tough eat out. Restaurant is now a cattle market clearly can't cope with the number of guests arriving. We came at probably the best time and leaving at the right time. Not enough family entertainment, although they have now lifted the slide restrictions they still kick you out of all pools at 6pm.( Bit early when it's still hot ) I would not book this hotel again unless it was half the price we paid handout of school holidays as they can't cope. Also staff are not as accommodating as they were when we arrived. As for a fully refurbished hotel ..... I beg to differ ..... Tip.. if you have any food allergy, check what your eating with the chefs
