We booked this hotel as it was small business with a pool along with affordable rates. Well after I booked and looked at the receipt I was charged $141 in mandatory fees. ********** said they were the hotel fees, the hotel said they were ********** fees. I still have not received ANY explanation in the fees even after repeated phone calls. Once we got to the hotel, the luggage cart had half inflated tires which made it difficult to use. There was no elevator too. The industrial ice maker was broken so they were using a residential counter top ice maker or they had to run to the local gas station for a bag. All vending machines were either broken or empty. The pool was closed, they stated because of covid. Once in the room when we put our bags in the bed we noticed some sort of stain/substance on the bed comforter. We did not undo the rest of the sheets. When we looked around more we saw numerous live lady bugs crawling around. There was splatter on the toilet seat. Someone's left over beer in the fridge. Pizza crust on the floor along with a part of a cigarette wrapper by the dresser. There were dead bugs in the light fixtures. A broken fake fingernail was found on the floor. So who knows when the floor was last vacuumed. For the heat/ac the plug in was missing a cover so any child or pet could have been shocked or worse. The tub had soap residue left on the tub shelf. Needless to stay we decided to leave and go to a chain hotel. With covid going on cleanliness should be #1!
