The Oaks is a overpriced ripoff. For what I paid the carpet needed cleaning. A whole in the gyp rock wall. The toilet ran over the whole time. X2 poxy single beds pushed together and the traffic noise at night coming up of the street was awful. It’s a one or two star place with five star prices. I can only advise that people stay well clear of this over priced shithole

Furniture was ripped in lounge-tv in lounge didn’t work - paint peeling in ensuite- this was meant to be an executive apartment- certainly significantly below standard.

Myself and my family find the oaks very comfortable and ideal to convenience But each time we had been there the quality of furniture and repairs needed makes it quite questionable for the value of money I spend to stay there

Fantastic stay here and lovely south african lady at reception.

The lounges in reception really need replacing - doesn’t give a good first impression. Carpet in room very worn. Housekeeping is hit and miss. Sometimes bed made but not always and missed us completely one day (as we returned late we couldn’t tell anyone reception was closed). Restaurant isn’t always open so forget room service. The room we were in was extremely hot for October and the Aircon doesn’t go lower than 19 so rather uncomfortable and doesn’t cool down until late evening. Rather disappointed as we often stay at Oaks (and are away usually 200-300 nights per year) and this isn’t their usual standard.

Room had a few issues, cracks in the walls in 3 places, very noisy dryer and exhaust fan in bathroom, tv issues but overall very handy to retail and dining outlets.

Great for a longer work trip, will see me again.

Clean and modern rooms with kitchenette, everything you need to prepare a simple meal and also a great restaurant downstairs with excellent food and live music.

Proximity to Canelands, Great bathroom. Spotlessly clean

Staff were good with easy checkin and checkout. Room carpets need a clean and bathroom door lock doesn't line up so it can't be locked or stay closed.
