Hotel dekat St. Dominic's Church, Macau

Nice place close to san malo and saint paul but hard to find the place when you’re first timee to macau some taxi driver didn’t know the address at 10 tqxi driver we ask at last one know the place but we drop wrong way too far to walk carrying our luggage going up about 15min then when we get there at the hotel we found out the nearest way to drop by taxi in front of san malo then walk about 6min to hotel pensao elegante.

The hotel is clean and modern, with a fantastic location near Senado Square. The 1920s retro aesthetic is really well done and made my stay in Macau all the more memorable.

i love the location of this hotel. just a few steps and you are already at the san malo and ruins of st. paul. the road going to the hotel is a bit steep but its ok coz the price of rooms here are affordable. next time we go back to macau, definitely will stay here again. ❤️

Location is good, very near the shopping areas. But our room is on the ground floor, we could hear people walking and passing by. Could have at least a mini fridge maybe. Can’t think of anything that would make me want to go back.

The hotel is located in a small lane and taxi can't go in, the driver didn't know the hotel and couldn't find it, he dropped me off nearby and I had to ask around and it took me 15 mins to walk and found it. The room is small and with moldy smells when opening the door, it took a while to go off after turning on the Aircon, the toilet size is Ok and clean, the bed is comfortable for me, the window view can see opposite houses about 3m away only. The wall socket is similar to Hong Kong UK 3-Pin type but the Kettle and Hairdryer are China's Plug, so need adapter and you can borrow it from the Reception. I wonder why they put a flower pot under the Hanging clothes area? It may easily fall down when I hang my clothes but luckily it's glued so no problem. The surrounding has many local foods and shops and Shopping Mall nearby. Overall, this is the first time I stayed in a small hotel hide in a small lane and Taxi can't reach it, I check-out next day is a rainy morning, I have to pull a big luggage with a gift items bag and walk under the rain for 50m to wait for a Taxi at roadside, luckily bought a small umbrella with me but still half wet when getting on board a Taxi.

We have a very good vacation in Macau. The hotel is in very good location nearby Broken Church. Its Just a minute walk, sorrounded with many restaurants to eat. Easy checkin and check out. Room was clean and nice, my kids loved the duplex room stairs. Only the lift seems little outdated rest all ok. Didnot tried the hotel restaurant. I will recommend.

My stay here was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and can speak english. The room was a bit cramped but its clean. They provide toiletries including a toothbrush and toothpaste, though I brought my own. They also provide a kettle, water bottles, towel and slipper. This hotel is conveniently located near the ruins of st paul and bus stops. For those going to HK, there is a direct bus from the hotel to the HK Macau Terminal. Overall i highly recommend to stay here.

Convenient location in city centre and Casino Grand Lisboa. Easy to take the free shuttle to the ferry terminal back to Hong Kong. Spacious sitting area and nice night views.

This was a very nice stay away from main Casino district (Taipa) in Macau, and we (as a family) loved it. Let me give you few bullets 1. After booking, I send email to hotel, but there was no reply for 48 hours. 2. when enquired through Trip.com, though the booking was with Club Millesime, the first answer was no access to Longue. When enquired again, Longue access was confirmed (sound like they obliged). 3. Reaching Hotel by taxi (from HZMB port) is appx 30 minutes taxi ride (120 HKD) - on reaching hotel, we found they have bus from the port every 30 minuets - details missing on their website. 4. Check-in experience was good, no delay, no unnecessary question. 5. Pleasent surprise was level of English-speaking staff at hotel. we always found someone to talk to and find required information. 6. Club Millesime (Longue - L17) available for food three times a day - Afternoon High tea, Late evening Happy Hours and morning Breakfast. Though the food options are limited (specially for Vegetarian people), we found the place enjoyable. 7. We explored the old city (opposite to hotel) in afternoon, and it was wonderful experience. we went to Fort and Wall and possibly best narrow streets in the world. 8. Rooms were good, comfortable sleep, nice TV options (TV speakers were bad while watching movie). 9. Sofitel is working hard on Environmental stuff, you can see it everywhere in room. No water bottle, no plastic, no loose item for tooth paste, lotion, shampoo, comb etc. 10. Morning breakfast (at L6) was good, good spread and many items were fresh. During holiday period, you may need to way for some time. There were a few vegetarian options for breakfast. 11. Checkout process was very easy. 12. I couldn't experience fitness center, swimming pool and restaurant due to other priorities. check few photos (room details for more information.

The sad thing was that they strictly follow the schedule no check-in’s before 2. I already got used that in China Mainland you can leave your things, take a shower and go exploring even if you came early. Even in HK hotel they checked us in 1 hour earlier. The good thing is that rooms are big, especially compared to HK. Smoking is strictly prohibited but, sadly people seems like don’t care. Everyday around 10 o’clock our room smelled like a cheap bar 😰 seems like the neighbors were smoking in the bathrooms. It’s pretty close to the bus terminal (500m) from where you can get anywhere you need. Also close to the bus stops.
