We arrived early and the reception staff checked to see whether our room was available, so we got the room by 11am which was much appreciated after an early start (2am). The hotel was modern, nice clean spatious rooms. There is a bus station next to the hotel or a 20 min stroll to the closest metro.

We had a very brief trip to Lyon and stayed one night in Hotel Lyon-Ouest. Rooms good size. Location outside of the main centre of Lyon but easy to get to via public transport. It was the staff that made the stay. All very welcoming and friendly.

This hotel preauthorised my payment and a week after my stay having paid my bill on departure, they forget to cancel the preauthorised transaction, very annoying . The service in the morning was very slow getting my invoice, maybe staff training required

Good value hotel. Friendly, helpful staff, good breakfast. Clean, reasonably sized room, no issues with noise during the night. Unbeatable location for my purposes, will definitely stay here again when returning to Lyon

An ideal place to stay for a few days whilst visiting Lyon. A nice river-front location with excellent transport links into the old city. Service was friendly and efficient with a special mention for Clotilde who very patiently answered all our questions and gave us information on Lyon's sights. My only reason for not giving 5 stars would be the quality of the breakfast. We ate @8.30 on both days and by then the one variety of meat (cooked ham) had finished and was not replaced. Lyon is known as a city of gastronomy and yet no local produce was served. The only cheese served were small plastic wrapped portions of Emmental which seemed an insult to the gastro-culture of Lyon.

Nice hotel, clean but a bit older design. Breakfast was ok but not a lot of fresh options. Hair dryer was very old fashioned and didn't work well. Rather bring your own! Other than that, well maintained!
