Just come here for a couple of extra nights after staying at the arona gran. I am pleasantly surprised with how my apartment is and yes the reception is a bit dated but my studio isn’t Superb value for money and the lady on reception was very helpful

To be honest I was very weary about going after reading some really awful reviews! Our room was a studio 707T. The view was exceptional onto the pool, prom and sea. The apartment was clean as where towels and bedding. Everything smelt lovely and clean it was such a relief! Ok the apartments do need an upgrade with a few broken tiles on the balcony etc but for a budget hotel it was great. The position was excellent lovely and bars all around. The pool area was open and spacious and the pool was big. Ok again it needs an upgrade but perfectly adequate. The bar was great food and drinks same price as outside lovely friendly staff. Reception staff were lovely very helpful. So I would definitely come here again.

Our Comodoro Apartment was quite basic, but clean and had almost everything we needed - except a toaster though!! The 'keys' business was a bit unusual especially as we weren't told that we needed keys for this and that, including getting into the pool area and pulling ourselves a sunbed. Once we knew, then everything was okay - very nice pool area. The greenery shrubs and trees were really nice, not something you see in the modern hotels. For me, the building's location was ideal - for the first time I had a motability scooter (from Jose) which meant we could go out and about more and enjoy Los Cristianos itself more than we have in over twenty years, our normal stay is way up a lot of hills!! The Comodoro has an area for charging scooters too. There's a nice bar with outside chairs and tables and a restaurant which we didn't use as there are so many good restaurants along the Paseo. Next time we go though, we will hopefully be able to have a front apartment - we had so much wind around our corner apartment that the table and chairs on the balcony blew over!! Yes, it was basic as I said, but we had no complaints apart from the fact that there was no toaster!!

Just back from another week's break in Los Cristianos, we have visited the area many times so have a good understanding of what to expect. Booked through easyJet this time as their accommodation photos looked really nice and modern - sadly, the reality of room 303A bears absolutely no resemblance to what was sold to us. Very old fashioned kitchen, no oven or microwave - it's a self catering apartment! Beds were rock hard, shower tray ingrained dirt. Good sized fridge freezer, although be careful not to put glass bottles in the door shelves as they will fall out. Pool and gardens were very good, well looked after and only €1/day for sun bed hire. Was peaceful and not too busy. Location is excellent - opposite the crazy golf and bowling if you know the area. Staff were very friendly. We'll be back to Los Cristianos, but definitely not these appointments.

Our 5th (I think) stay at the Comodoro and it is ideal for what we want! Our room 303A was spotless, nicely decorated with a fantastic view over the harbour...the best sunsets ever! Comfortable beds, small shower which sometimes ran out of hot water. Basic toiletries (shampoo and soap) but washing up liquid, tea towels etc provided. Lovely balcony, big fridge with freezer. Receptionists always helpful and friendly. Taxis outside the door, short walk to the bus station. Steps from the seafront and restaurants and bars. Great for a fairly basic base in a great location.

Good points 1. excellent location - more or less on promenade, close to the harbour, shops, bars etc.... but still quiet at night. Close by restaurants / eateries include english pubs and spanish / tapas places 2. Room very good size with all expected amenities (except maybe iron as others have commented) 3. all staff v helpful and friendly 4. quite a nice buzz about the place 5. always sun beds avail - I actually think the small charge for these is very good idea , and seems to keep the usual sunbed hoggers away 6. On site restaurant/bar very decent and reasonably priced Only downside could be that the hotel is a little dated and worn but not enough to bother me. Still use old fashioned keys not smartcards

Stayed in here for four nights 8th-12th December. Having read previous reviews I was looking at other hotels in the area. Our room 303a was very dated but it was clean. The view was amazing so we decided to stay. We booked with easyJet holidays and the room was not at all as advertised. It was a studio with two single uncomfortable beds. We never had our towels changed or room service at all. Kitchen had all the basics needed. We loved sitting on the balcony of a morning with our tea and coffee. The reception staff and bar staff are very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again but book direct with the hotel to get a better apartment. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for families but for couples needing a base in a good location it's fine.

Location is great. Rooms basic and need updating, most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. We stayed 4 days and didn’t see a cleaner or fresh towels/bedding. Fortunately when we was there the temperature was low 20s so no aircon was not a major thing, however summer must be unbearable. Bar area, only had a couple of beers which was reasonable. However one day I was going to order some chips, they was €8.50!! So went to restaurant on front and paid €2 This accommodation was ok for a few days but unfortunately we won’t be visiting again.

Got there to find they couldn’t find our booking. After an hour it was sorted. We never got told about the place the pool the restaurant etc had to find out ourselves. Nothing about the area . The room was a lot dated and rough ( see pictures) the view was brilliant as on 10th floor! Lift works ok! Good luck we were only there a week as pool was shut the following week with only a few days notice. Location good but would not return it’s got a lot of permanent residents with barking dogs and drug smoking.
